Devout Aurastone Hammer — Transmog Set Guide

Overview

Каменный боевой молот с аурой благочестивости

Game iconDevout Aurastone Hammer is a one-handed crushing mace with a short stone haft and a massive flat head in a light-gray shade. The model is calm and restrained: no glow, spikes, or animation, just the clean silhouette of a "holy hammer" that reads well in the hand of a plate or cloth healer.

This appearance has existed in the game since the very first raid set of classic World of Warcraft. It has two forms sharing the same model: the heirloom version bought from heirloom keepers, and the original raid release that drops in Molten Core. Either one works for transmog — the appearance is shared.

Source

You can obtain this look in two ways.

Heirloom version (the easy path). This form is sold for gold by heirloom keepers and is available to every character on the account through the collection.

Raid original (for collectors). The original item with the same appearance drops in the Molten Core raid in the Burning Steppes.

  • The source is the boss Garr, an elemental in one of the raid's halls.
  • The drop chance is low, so for the appearance it is easier to grab the heirloom version from a vendor and only run the raid if you specifically want the original item in your inventory.
  • The raid is long outdated and can be soloed without trouble on any class.

Visual fit

  • It harmonizes with white and silvery-gray plate sets — the look of a defender paladin or a warrior priest.
  • It suits cloth sets in calm tones, where you want a "down-to-earth" hammer without magical effects.
  • It contrasts with bright glowing sets — against them it looks deliberately plain, which can be a conscious minimalist choice.
  • It looks great paired with a neutral-toned shield for the look of a wandering servant.

Tips

1

The heirloom version is the fastest way: buy it once for gold, the appearance goes straight into your collection, and you don't have to run the raid.

2

The appearance is shared between the heirloom and raid versions, so unlocking either one a single time is enough.

3

If you specifically collect raid items, head to Molten Core and Garr, but be ready for several runs due to the low drop chance.

4

Molten Core is located in the Burning Steppes; solo, the raid clears quickly on any class with a leveled character.

5

The hammer belongs to the one-handed crushing weapon class — it can be transmogrified onto any one-handed crushing weapon a suitable class can use.

6

For a plate healer look, pair the hammer with a shield to emphasize the "holy" theme of the appearance.
