Exodar Elekk

Exodar Elekk is a ground mount added to World of Warcraft in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion (patch 3.1.0). It is a majestic elekk consecrated by the naaru O'ros — the very naaru who accompanied Velen and his followers on their journey from Draenor to Azeroth. The mount is available only to characters of the Alliance faction and is purchased with the Argent Tournament currency, Champion's Seals.

The Exodar Elekk is part of the Argent Tournament's series of city mounts. Alongside it, you can purchase similar mounts of the other Alliance capitals: Stormwind Steed, Ironforge Ram, Gnomeregan Mechanostrider, and Darnassian Nightsaber. Each of them costs 100 Champion's Seals and is sold by the corresponding quartermaster.

• Unique elekk model — the Exodar Elekk differs from the standard racial draenei elekks with special armor and an appearance characteristic of the Argent Tournament's reward mounts.
• Collection value — the mount is part of a series of five Alliance city mounts from the Argent Tournament. By collecting all five, you significantly expand your collection and get closer to the achievements for the number of mounts.
• Account-wide — once learned, the mount is unlocked for all Alliance characters on your account.
• Guaranteed acquisition — unlike mounts with a percentage drop chance, the Exodar Elekk is bought for a fixed price. You only need to accumulate enough Champion's Seals.
• Parallel farming — while you save up seals for the elekk, you simultaneously build reputation with the Silver Vanguard and unlock access to the tournament's other rewards: pets, tabards, toys, and the Crusader title.

The Exodar Elekk is purchased from Irisee — the Exodar quartermaster at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown (Northrend). The mount costs 100 Champion's Seals.

1. Head to Northrend, to the Argent Tournament Grounds in the northeastern part of Icecrown. The easiest way to get there is through the portal to Dalaran from Stormwind, and from there — north on a flying mount.
2. Begin the Argent Tournament quest chain by speaking with Justiciar Mariel Trueheart. You will receive the rank of Aspirant and access to the first daily tasks.
3. Complete Aspirant daily tasks for three days to earn 15 Aspirant's marks. After that, you will be able to pass the trial and become a Valiant of your home city.
4. At the Valiant stage, complete daily tasks for five days to gather 25 Valiant's marks. Then pass the trial and become a Champion of your home city.
5. Having earned the rank of Champion of your home city, take the quest "A Valiant of the Exodar" (if your home city is not the Exodar) and repeat the Valiant path now for the Exodar faction. Pass the trial and become a Champion of the Exodar.
6. As a Champion, you gain access to daily tasks that reward Champion's Seals. Accumulate 100 seals.
7. Visit Irisee in the Silver Covenant pavilion on the tournament grounds and purchase the Exodar Elekk.

The Argent Tournament is located in northeastern Icecrown. It is a permanently running event that is not tied to the calendar — you can begin progressing at any time. Progress is divided into three stages, each of which unlocks new daily tasks and rewards.

After earning the rank of Champion of your home city, you can take quests to rank up the Valiant for other Alliance cities. Each city requires completing the Valiant stage separately (5 days and 25 marks), after which you become a Champion of that city.

If your character is a draenei, you automatically begin the path with the Exodar faction and will become a Champion of the Exodar first. Characters of other Alliance races will need an additional 5 days to rank up the Valiant of the Exodar.

Champion's Seals are the main reward currency of the Argent Tournament. You begin receiving them after reaching the rank of Champion of at least one city.

At maximum efficiency, it will take you approximately 7–8 days to accumulate 100 seals. If you are only just starting Argent Tournament progression from scratch, add another 8–13 days to earn the rank of Champion (3 days Aspirant + 5 days Valiant of your home city + if necessary 5 days Valiant of the Exodar).

The Argent Tournament Grounds are located in the northeastern corner of Icecrown, on the continent of Northrend.

1. Use the portal to Dalaran (Broken Isles or Northrend) from Stormwind. The portals are located in the Mage Tower in the Stormwind quarter
2. From Dalaran, fly northeast into Icecrown. The grounds are at the very north of the zone
3. An alternative route is through the Argent Vanguard tavern in Icecrown, which is the nearest flight point

At max level (80 in The War Within), the journey takes a few minutes. The enemies of Icecrown pose no threat.

The Argent Tournament offers an extensive collection of mounts divided into several categories. While you farm seals for the Exodar Elekk, it is worth planning the purchase of the remaining mounts — all of them are bought with the same currency.
