Explorer's Jungle Hopper

Explorer's Jungle Hopper is a two-seat flying mount in the form of a mechanical helicopter-glider designed for jungle expeditions.

The mount was added in patch 8.2.5 as one of the rewards of the revamped Recruit A Friend program. As of patch 10.0.7 (March 21, 2023), the mount is no longer available to new recruits; however, players who began recruiting before that date can still obtain it.

Mount journal description: "For those times when you have to make an emergency landing in the middle of an uncharted swamp, because it's the only way to reach an ancient temple."

The Explorer's Jungle Hopper was a reward for 9 months of combined paid game time from recruited friends as part of the Recruit A Friend program.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to World of Warcraft and open the Recruit A Friend menu
2. Create an invitation link — through the dedicated menu you can generate a unique link and send it to your friends
3. Send the link to friends — those invited must be new players or have not paid for a subscription in the last 2 years
4. Wait for 9 months of payment — once your invited friends have paid for a combined 9 months of game time, you will receive the Keys to the Explorer's Jungle Hopper
5. Use the item — it will appear in your mailbox; right-click it to learn the mount

Important Conditions

• You yourself must have an active World of Warcraft subscription
• Months of payment are cumulative: three friends who each pay for 3 months equal 9 months from a single friend
• You can invite up to 10 friends at the same time
• New invitation links can be created once every 30 days

With the release of patch 10.0.7 (March 21, 2023), the Recruit A Friend program was updated and the list of rewards changed. The Explorer's Jungle Hopper is no longer granted to new recruits.

However, there is an important exception: if you began recruiting before patch 10.0.7, your existing recruits still count toward the progress of the old rewards. So if you have active recruits left over from the past, you can still obtain this mount.
