Forsworn Aquilon
Overview

Forsworn Aquilon is an epic ground and flying mount added in patch 9.1, "Chains of Domination," of the Shadowlands expansion. It is a battle centurion built by the Forsworn from stolen Kyrian blueprints. The mount is awarded for the quest
Intact Aquilon Core, which begins with the item of the same name that rarely drops from the Wild Worldcracker in Korthia.
The Forsworn Aquilon is one of eight covenant mounts added in patch 9.1. It is rendered in the dark tones of the Forsworn and takes the form of a mechanical winged centurion with a distinctive Kyrian aesthetic. The in-game description reads: "The first aquilons were built by the Forsworn from stolen blueprints. Now these mighty centurions have earned a fine reputation all across the Shadowlands."
Why You Want This Mount
- Rarity — the Intact Aquilon Core has a drop chance of under 1%. This mount is seen on players far less often than most Shadowlands reward mounts
- Unique model — the Forsworn Aquilon is rendered in the dark tones of the Forsworn, setting it apart from the standard blue and gold Kyrian aquilons. It is the only aquilon with the visual style of the Kyrians' adversaries
- Ground and flying — the mount works both on the ground and in the air. In flight the aquilon spreads its mechanical wings and soars, creating a striking silhouette
- Available to the whole warband — once you obtain the mount and reach Renown 80 with the Kyrians, the mount becomes available to every character in your warband, regardless of the chosen covenant
- Outdated content — in Midnight, all of Korthia can be cleared at max level in a matter of minutes, which simplifies daily farming
How to Obtain
Getting the mount requires meeting a chain of conditions: being a member of the Kyrian covenant, summoning and killing a rare mob, getting a rare drop, and turning in a quest.
- Join the Kyrian covenant in Bastion. This is a mandatory condition — the event with Po'Po is available only to members of the Kyrian covenant, and the item drops only for them
- Travel to Korthia, a zone added in patch 9.1. Make your way to Keeper's Respite, the base in Korthia
- Wait for Po'Po. Steward Po'Po appears at Keeper's Respite and asks to be escorted while delivering potions to wounded Kyrian soldiers
- Escort Po'Po along the route, protecting him from attacks by the forces of the Maw. When the escort is complete, Po'Po will shout: "Stop hiding and fight Po'Po, you big blue bully!" — and the Wild Worldcracker emerges from a portal
- Kill the Wild Worldcracker. It has roughly a 0.8% chance to drop the
Intact Aquilon Core - Use the item — it will start the quest "Intact Aquilon Core"
- Turn in the quest at Keeper's Respite and receive the
Forsworn Aquilon
How to Start the Event
- Arrive at Keeper's Respite in Korthia
- Check whether Steward Po'Po has appeared — the little owl-like Kyrian helper. He spawns near coordinates 46.9, 35.0
- Talk to Po'Po and accept the escort task
- The event is available only to members of the Kyrian covenant
Coordinates
Spawn Frequency
The event appears periodically but has no strict timer. You can kill the Wild Worldcracker once per day on each character. If the event is not active, wait a few minutes or change realms through a group in the group finder.
Combat Tips
At max level (90 in Midnight) the Wild Worldcracker dies in a few seconds. The fight poses no difficulty whatsoever — the mob scales to level 61 Shadowlands content.
Multiple Characters
The most efficient way to speed up obtaining the mount is to farm on several Kyrian covenant characters. Each character gets one attempt per day. With a 0.8% chance and a single character, the average number of attempts is around 125. With four characters, the timeframe is cut roughly fourfold.
Tips
Check your covenant before farming — only members of the Kyrian covenant can see and start the event. If you cannot see Po'Po and cannot find groups, make sure your character belongs to the correct covenant
Use the group finder — changing realms through the group finder significantly speeds up farming, letting you avoid waiting for the event to spawn on your own realm
Farm on multiple characters — create 2–4 Kyrian covenant alts. Each character gets a separate attempt once per day, which multiplies your chances
Don't forget the extra loot — killing the Wild Worldcracker counts toward the "Shaping Fate" achievement and yields Anima, which is useful for leveling your covenant
