Goblin Trike
Overview

Goblin Trike is a rare goblin-race ground mount added in the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion (patch 4.0.3 "The Shattering"). It's a mechanical three-wheeled motorcycle assembled from gears, bolts, and treated wooden panels — a classic example of goblin engineering.
The mount is purchased from vendor Kall Worthaton in Orgrimmar. Goblins can buy the trike without any reputation requirements — it's their racial mount. Members of other Horde races can also purchase the trike, but doing so requires Exalted reputation with the Bilgewater Cartel faction.
Like all standard ground mounts, the trike increases movement speed by 60%. Once acquired, the mount becomes available on all characters on your account on the Horde side.
Why You Want This Mount
- Goblin racial mount — this is one of four trikes available to goblins from the start. Collectors and roleplay enthusiasts value this model for matching the race's style
- Cheap purchase for goblins — goblin characters get the trike for just 1 gold, making it one of the most affordable ground mounts in the game
- Unique mechanical model — unlike most ground mounts represented by animals, the trike is a true combat machine with working gears and an exhaust pipe
- Available to all of the Horde — any Horde member can obtain the trike by raising reputation with the Bilgewater Cartel to Exalted
- Collection addition — the mount counts toward collector achievements, including Mountacular and subsequent tiers
- Kezan aesthetic — the trike looks great in themed screenshots and videos, especially for characters tied to goblins and the Bilgewater Cartel
How to Obtain
The process of obtaining the mount differs depending on your character's race. For goblins it's as simple as possible — just reach the minimum level and buy the key. For other Horde races you'll need to grind reputation.
For Goblin Characters
- Reach level 10 and learn the Apprentice Riding skill (available at level 10)
- Head to Orgrimmar
- Make your way to Kall Worthaton in the goblin part of Orgrimmar
- Buy the
Goblin Trike Key for 1 gold - Use the key from your inventory to learn the mount
For Other Horde Races
- Reach Friendly reputation with the Bilgewater Cartel and buy the
Bilgewater Cartel Tabard - Raise reputation to Exalted — that's about 42,000 points from Neutral
- Learn the Apprentice Riding skill
- Head to Kall Worthaton in Orgrimmar
- Buy the
Goblin Trike Key and use it
Where to Find Kall Worthaton
Kall Worthaton is located in the goblin part of Orgrimmar, near the entrance to the Valley of Spirits. You can recognize him by the distinctive trike signage and the "Trikes" tag beneath his name.
Route to the Vendor
- Enter Orgrimmar through the main entrance from the Durotar side
- Move along the main street toward the Valley of Spirits
- Find the goblin trading post — it stands out with distinctive goblin architecture and signs
- Kall Worthaton stands next to the trikes ready for sale
Coordinate Travel Command
Kall Worthaton also sells a more expensive version — the
Goblin Turbo-Trike Key, an epic mount with an increased speed of 100%. It requires the Journeyman Riding skill.
Grinding Reputation with the Bilgewater Cartel
If you play any Horde race other than goblin, you'll need to reach Exalted with the Bilgewater Cartel. Below are the most effective grinding methods.
Tabard and Dungeons
The fastest and most popular method:
- Reach Friendly reputation (a few starting goblin quests are usually enough)
- Buy the
Bilgewater Cartel Tabard from the vendor at the embassy in Orgrimmar - Wear the tabard and head into Cataclysm Classic dungeons
- Each mob kill in the dungeon grants reputation with the chosen faction
Heroic-difficulty dungeons give the most reputation per run. Standard Cataclysm heroics are suitable for grinding from level 85, and even at modern levels they clear very quickly.
Goblin Starting Zone Quests
If you create a new goblin character, the entire starting quest chain on the Lost Isles grants reputation with the Bilgewater Cartel. By the end (around level 13) you'll get a significant bonus, but it's not enough for Exalted without additional effort.
Garrison and Command Table
In the later stages of the game you can earn additional reputation through command-table missions and special faction insignia. This is a passive method that lets you speed up the grind between main tasks.
Darkmoon Faire
Visit the Darkmoon Faire and ride the carousel to get the "WHEE!" buff (+10% reputation gained for 60 minutes). Use it before a dungeon run for maximum efficiency.
Tips
Goblins get the mount for free — if you play a goblin, don't waste time on reputation. Just buy the key for 1 gold and use it. It's one of the race's perks
Check your collection before buying — open the mount journal (Shift + P by default) and make sure the trike isn't already learned. Mounts are account-bound, so if you ever bought it on another character, you won't need to spend gold again
Buy it together with the turbo-trike — if you've already made the journey to Exalted and arrived at Kall Worthaton, it makes sense to also buy the
Goblin Turbo-Trike Key right away. This saves you from returning later
Use the tabard in any Cataclysm dungeon — Bilgewater Cartel reputation trickles in while wearing the tabard in all Cataclysm-era dungeons, not just goblin-related ones. Pick the shortest, simplest dungeon for maximum speed
Combine with bonus events — the Dungeon bonus event and the Reputation bonus event significantly speed up the grind. Watch the in-game event rotation
The mount only works on the ground — don't confuse the trike with flying mounts. It's suitable for traveling old-world zones and inside cities, but won't replace a flying mount in zones where flight is allowed
Appearance matters for roleplay — the trike pairs perfectly with the look of an engineer, mechanic, or Bilgewater Cartel member. Use it as the main ground transport for fitting characters
Check your riding skill — if you haven't played a character in a while, make sure they've learned at least Apprentice riding. Without this skill the mount can't be summoned, even if the key is already used
