Get Phase-Lost Slateback mount

Phase-Lost Slateback is a collectible mount added in patch 11.2 "Ghosts of K'aresh." It is a unique slateback with ethereal phase effects that retains the visual glow of Phase Diving even outside the Disembodied space. The mount is a reward for the Phase-Lost-and-Found achievement, which requires collecting all 28 phase transmog weapon items from phase orbs on K'aresh.

• Unique model — the only mount in the game that retains the visual effects of Phase Diving outside the Disembodied space
• A reward for the Phase-Lost-and-Found achievement, which counts toward your overall achievement progress
• Along the way you will also earn 28 unique weapon models — phase transmog that is unavailable any other way
• The mount can be farmed at any time with no tie to a weekly lockout or event
• It is both a ground and a flying mount — adapting to your current location

To obtain the Phase-Lost Slateback, you need to meet several conditions:

1. Level 80 character — the maximum level of The War Within expansion
2. Completed Khaz Algar campaign — the expansion's main storyline
3. Chapter 3 of the K'aresh campaign — after completing it you receive the legendary cloak Reshii Wraps and access to Phase Diving
4. Rank 3 Reshii Wraps — needed to unlock the "Secrets of the Deep" talent, which lets you see phase orbs
5. Rank 4 Reshii Wraps — let you obtain phase orbs from slain enemies, significantly speeding up the farm

1. Head to Dornogal — the capital of Khaz Algar
2. Find the Locus-Walker, who begins the K'aresh quest chain
3. Complete the introductory quests, including receiving the cloak and the first rank of the wraps
4. After finishing Chapter 3 of the campaign, complete the quest that unlocks the Phase Diving mechanic
5. On K'aresh, use the Phase Conduits placed throughout the zone to enter the Disembodied space and travel quickly between points

Phase orbs are glowing objects that appear in the Disembodied space of K'aresh. They only become visible after unlocking the "Secrets of the Deep" talent on Rank 3 Reshii Wraps.

Sources of Phase Orbs

1. Stationary orbs — scattered across the entire map of K'aresh and Tazavesh in the Disembodied space. Their locations are fixed, but they respawn at a set interval
2. Enemy drops (requires Rank 4 Reshii Wraps) — enemies slain in the Disembodied space can drop additional orbs

Transmog Drop Chance

• Each orb you pick up has an approximately 15–20% chance to contain a phase transmog item you do not yet own
• Otherwise you will receive Phase-Lost Detritus — a grey vendor item
• No duplicates drop — every item you receive is unique and is removed from the pool
• Collecting all 28 items will require gathering roughly 100–165 orbs (depending on luck)

Preparation

1. Make sure your Reshii Wraps are leveled to at least Rank 3 (ideally Rank 4)
2. Install the WeakAuras addon and import a string to display phase orb spawn points on the K'aresh map — this greatly simplifies navigation
3. If you have Rank 3 wraps or higher, you will be able to use mounts in the Disembodied space, which speeds up movement

Main Farming Route

1. Enter the Disembodied space through any Phase Conduit on K'aresh
2. Move along the route, collecting stationary orbs — watch for glowing objects
3. Recommended route: make wide loops near the raid entrance — this area has a high density of orb spawns
4. If you have Rank 4 wraps, kill enemies you encounter along the way, as they may drop additional orbs
5. Use the Phase Conduits to travel quickly between the 10 points on the map, checking for orbs near each conduit

Farming in Tazavesh

The phase version of Tazavesh, the Veiled Market is an excellent alternative to the main route:

• High mob density — more chances for orb drops from enemies
• On each visit (or realm change) you can find 5–8 orbs at a time
• Especially effective combined with realm hopping

Realm Hopping

To speed up the farm, use addons or Group Finder (LFG) groups to switch between realms:

1. Collect all visible orbs on your realm
2. Join a group on another realm via the Group Finder
3. Collect the orbs on the new realm
4. Repeat until you obtain all 28 items

Tip: look for K'aresh world boss groups — when you join, you are automatically teleported to the group leader's realm.

• Level your Reshii Wraps to Rank 4 before you start farming. The extra orb drops from mobs significantly cut the time needed to collect all 28 items.
• Use WeakAuras to display orb spawn points. Pink dots on the map will show all possible orb spawn locations on K'aresh and in Tazavesh.
• Don't ignore Tazavesh. The phase version of this location has increased mob and orb density.
• Realm hopping is your best friend. If the orbs on your realm are already collected, switch to another via the Group Finder.
• Track your achievement progress. Open the achievements window (the "Y" key by default) and check which items you have already obtained.
• The weekly Phase Diving quest grants 300 reputation with the K'aresh Trust and 7 Coins of Disembodiment — complete it alongside your orb farming.
• Disembodied Zee'buche Potions let you enter the Disembodied space without a conduit — handy for starting the farm from anywhere.
