Maisara Caverns
Maisara Caverns
Maisara Caverns is a new dungeon introduced in the Midnight expansion. It features numerous mob groups and three bosses.
The entrance is located in the Zul’Aman zone.

To reach the first boss, Muro’jin, you must free 8 captives who are heavily guarded by mob groups. The more captives are present in an area, the stronger the mobs guarding them become — up to elite enemies.
Captives are marked on the map with special icons, so you can always see the direction to each group of targets.

Muro’jin

After freeing 8 captives, you’ll unlock the path to the dungeon’s first boss — Muro’jin, who fights alongside his pet, Necrax.
Boss’s Main Abilities
The key feature of this boss fight is the need to kill both enemies simultaneously:
- If Necrax dies first, Muro’jin will begin casting Pet Resurrection (5‑second cast) to revive Necrax with 35% health.
- If Muro’jin dies first, Necrax will activate Beast’s Fury, increasing his damage dealt by 20% every 4 seconds until he’s killed.
Each boss has their own health pool, so it’s crucial to balance damage output to reduce both health bars evenly.
Infected Feathers
Necrax inflicts players with a necrotic effect and a 30‑second bleed. This effect can be dispelled.Barrage
Muro’jin selects a target and unleashes a 5‑second barrage in their direction. Shots are fired in a cone every 0.5 seconds, affecting all targets with bleed and a necrotic effect.
The boss locks onto the target and follows them with the barrage. Dodging is impossible; moving toward allies only adds more targets. If you’re affected, position yourself to avoid hitting allies. If you see this mechanic on an ally, move away to avoid the barrage.
- Carrion Raid
Necrax selects a target over 4.5 seconds, then dashes toward them, hitting all players in his path, knocking them up, and dealing massive damage.
A special green mark appears on the target. Avoid standing between Necrax and the target.
- Freezing Traps
Muro’jin scatters traps across the arena that freeze anyone who steps on them. If Necrax uses Carrion Raid on a target standing in a trap, the player takes no damage and Necrax is stunned for 5 seconds. Afterward, the trap disappears and leaves a damage zone.
The marked player should step into a trap before Necrax’s Carrion Raid. This prevents damage and stuns the boss.
- Spear Flank
Muro’jin knocks back his target, applying a severe 10‑second bleed.
Strategy for Battling Muro’jin
Tanks
Monitor where the boss will knock you back with Spear Flank. Use defensive abilities during the strike and position yourself to avoid being pushed into Freezing Traps or active damage zones.Healers
Both bosses deal heavy area-of-effect damage and apply necrotic effects and bleeds. Prioritize dispelling negative effects and restoring the tank’s health after Spear Flank bleeds.DPS
Balance damage between both bosses to ensure simultaneous kills. Direct Carrion Raid toward Freezing Traps. Be cautious not to hit allies when affected by Barrage.
Vordaza

Boss’s Main Abilities
Phantom Creation
A phantom follows each group member. If a phantom reaches its target or meets another phantom, it explodes, dealing heavy damage to nearby players. The explosion leaves a necrotic zone that damages anyone standing in it.Lingering Dread
If a phantom reaches its target or meets another phantom, all players receive a severe 10‑second bleed. Multiple phantoms amplify this effect.
Simultaneous phantom destructions can wipe the group.
Soul Siphon
Deals massive damage to the current target and applies a stacking necrotic effect lasting 4 seconds.Necrotic Convergence
Vordaza gains a strong shield, moves to the arena center, and deals damage every 2 seconds to all group members. Damage increases each time and lasts for 1 minute or until the shield is removed.
Necrotic spheres move across the arena; touching them deals massive damage and applies a necrotic effect.
Strategy for Battling Vordaza
Tanks
Prioritize using defensive abilities during Soul Siphon. This ability deals massive damage and applies stacking necrotic effects, making it difficult to recover health quickly.Healers
The boss applies numerous necrotic curses and deals heavy group damage. Use strong defensive abilities during Necrotic Convergence and assist in removing the shield.
Frequent dispelling of curses simplifies group healing.DPS
Timely detonate phantoms. Use defensive abilities before touching a phantom and immediately move away from the contact point to avoid necrotic zones.
Rak’tul, Vessel of Souls

Boss’s Main Abilities
Spirit Crusher
The boss strikes its target three times. The final blow knocks the target up. Upon landing, the target leaves a large necrotic zone dealing damage to anyone standing in it.Soul Shatter
Rak’tul jumps to three targets, leaving a totem near each. Totems deal damage every second and restrict movement to within 5 meters.Soul-Rending Roar
Rak’tul sends players to the other side, trapping them in a spirit realm. Players lose their physical form and must cross a spirit bridge to return.Withered Soul
Players on the other side take periodic damage, increasing every 4 seconds spent there.Spectral Remnant
On the other side, spirits use a channeled ability that slows all players by 60%. Each interrupted spell increases group damage taken by 20 seconds, stacking up to 5 times.
Players must interrupt spirits’ spells during this mechanic. Each interruption resets the effect, so prioritize interrupting to maintain the buff after returning from the spirit realm.
Strategy for Battling Rak’tul, Vessel of Souls
Tanks
Proper positioning is crucial. Spirit Crusher leaves a permanent necrotic zone under the tank. Place these zones to allow space for other players. Use defensive abilities on the third strike.Healers
The boss doesn’t deal heavy group damage, so focus on healing allies in necrotic zones and supporting damage output.DPS
Priority is destroying totems after Soul Shatter. Failing to eliminate them before the phase change can wipe the group.
Save major damage abilities for Soul-Rending Roar, using them under 5 Spectral Remnant buffs.
