Get Nightborne Arcsaber
Overview

Nightborne Arcsaber is a Nightborne-themed one-handed sword added to World of Warcraft in patch 9.1.5 of the Shadowlands expansion. The sword is sold for Timewalking currency and is valued first and foremost for its appearance.
The blade is crafted in the recognizable aesthetic of the Nightborne of Suramar: a thin, curved blade of glowing arcane energy in a cold purple-blue hue, set in an ornate elven hilt. Such "light weapon" models were previously carried only by Suramar guard NPCs, so the blade going on sale became a long-awaited gift for transmog enthusiasts.
The sword can be equipped at any level, it scales, and its stats are irrelevant — it is a purely cosmetic item for arcane- and elf-themed looks.
Source
The Nightborne Arcsaber is a vendor reward, sold for Timewalking event currency.
- The vendor is Aridormi, the Timewalking merchant for the Legion expansion.
- You can find her at Krasus' Landing in Dalaran above the Broken Isles — in the same spot as the flight master.
- The purchase currency is the Timewarped Badge.
- The blade costs 100 badges.
- Badges drop from bosses and for completing dungeons in Timewalking mode, as well as from the event's weekly quest.
- The purchase is only available while the Legion Timewalking week is active: at other times, Aridormi does not sell this particular stock.
The event itself rotates with other expansions roughly every few weeks, so if needed it is enough to wait for the next Legion week and stockpile badges. There are no reputation, level, or achievement requirements for the purchase.
Visual fit
- Suits Nightborne and elven spellcaster looks: the model directly references the aesthetic of Suramar.
- Harmonizes with purple-blue and arcane sets — for example, mage regalia and Suramar-style robes.
- The glowing blade pairs well with dark, nocturnal sets, creating a contrast between energy and armor.
- Suits light, slim silhouette looks thanks to the thin, elegant blade.
- Looks worse with rough, bulky plate armor: the sword gets lost against it.
Tips
The purchase is only possible during an active Legion Timewalking week — keep an eye on the in-game event calendar.
The fastest way to stockpile Timewarped Badge is to run Timewalking dungeons and turn in the event's weekly quest.
On a single trip to Aridormi it is convenient to grab the sword and the rest of the Nightborne weapons at once if you plan to collect the whole set.
The sword can be equipped at any level, so you can buy it even on a starting-level character, as long as you have enough badges.
If you do not have enough badges for everything at once, start with the item that appears least often in your look: bows and shields are useful only to some classes, while the sword is universal.
Badges do not expire between event weeks, so you can save them up in advance and spend them when the Legion rotation comes around.
