Get Noble Bruffalon mount

Noble Bruffalon is a ground mount added in patch 10.0.7 "Return to the Forbidden Reach" during the Dragonflight expansion. It is a massive bruffalon — a loyal hunting companion of the Maruuk centaur — that can be purchased with the Elemental Overflow currency from a vendor in Morqut Village.

The mount journal says of it: "It is a great honor to earn the trust of one of the loyal hunting companions of the Maruuk centaur. This bruffalon is steadfast and unshakable through any trial."

The Forbidden Reach is a zone in the Dragon Isles opened in patch 10.0.7. To gain access to it:

1. Pick up the quest "A Hidden Legacy" in Valdrakken
2. Complete the introductory chain, which will carry you to the Forbidden Reach
3. Once the intro quests are finished, you can freely fly into the zone at any time — just point your dragon north from the Waking Shores

The base camp — Morqut Village — is located in the central part of the zone.

Step 1 — Unlock the Forbidden Reach

If you haven't been to this zone yet, head to Valdrakken and pick up the quest "A Hidden Legacy." Complete the introductory chain — after that the zone will be permanently available.

Step 2 — Reach Morqut Village

Morqut Village is the main hub of the Forbidden Reach. Here you will find vendors from all the major factions of the Dragon Isles, including Storykeeper Ashekh — an emissary of the Maruuk centaur.

Step 3 — Accumulate 100,000 Elemental Overflow

Elemental Overflow is a currency that drops from mobs and from activities in the Forbidden Reach, as well as from Primal Storm events in the open world. This currency has no weekly cap, so you can farm it nonstop.

Step 4 — Buy the Noble Bruffalon

Once your balance reaches 100,000 Elemental Overflow, speak with Storykeeper Ashekh in Morqut Village and purchase the Noble Bruffalon. The mount will immediately appear in your collection and be available on all characters on your account.

• Kill rares every day. The rare enemies of the Forbidden Reach grant from 500 to 1,300 Elemental Overflow per kill. A route through all the zone's rares is the fastest way to accumulate the currency. With a daily route, 100,000 can be gathered in roughly 5 days.
• Clear the Cradle of War. This is an underground location with a dense cluster of mobs that respawn quickly. Some players report farming 100,000 in under 2 hours of nonstop farming in this spot.
• Open Forbidden Hoards. Chests spawn at 16 spots across the zone roughly once every 30 minutes and grant 400–700 Elemental Overflow. Use the HandyNotes addon to mark the respawn spots.
• Do daily quests. Each daily quest in the Forbidden Reach yields about 450 Elemental Overflow — a nice boost to your farming.
• Use boosters. The vendors in Morqut sell an item for 2,000 Elemental Overflow that increases rewards from rares and chests. The investment pays off quickly with active farming.
• Farm on multiple characters. The currency is account-bound and is kept when transferred between characters, so you can speed up accumulation by running rares and quests on alts.
• Don't forget about Primal Storms. Empowered elemental storms appear in the open world on the Dragon Isles and also grant Elemental Overflow — 1,200–1,500 per event.
