Obsidium Cleaver is an epic one-handed axe with a fiery, volcanic styling. Its massive dark blade with a jagged edge looks as if it were cast from cooled lava, with red-hot veins running across its surface. The model comes from the weapon set of the Firelands raid and captures the theme of flame and molten rock beautifully.

This is a one-handed axe with item level 46 and a required character level of 35. It is bind on equip, meaning it can be freely bought and sold on the auction house until it is equipped. The appearance is sought after for fiery and "volcanic" looks on any class that can wield one-handed axes.

The appearance is obtained in the Firelands raid on Mount Hyjal — a raid from the Cataclysm expansion.
