Pauldrons of Za'qul

Za’qul is a Herald of N’Zoth — a powerful creature of the N’raqi race. He serves N’Zoth, one of the ancient gods of madness and chaos. His actions in the Eternal Palace are part of a plan to plunge Azeroth into madness and prepare for N’Zoth’s return.

To get this shoulder piece, you’ll need to defeat the penultimate boss Za’qul in the Eternal Palace raid. The drop chance for the pauldrons is 0.1–0.3 %, depending on the chosen raid difficulty.

To access the raid:

1. Travel to Kul Tiras.
2. From there, go to Nazjatar.
3. In Nazjatar, make your way to the Queen’s Gate in the upper part of the map and jump into the whirlpool. The portal will take you to the raid entrance.

The shoulder piece is plate armor, so the following classes can obtain and transmogrify it:

• Warrior
• Paladin
• Death Knight

• You can only obtain the pauldrons in Heroic and Mythic difficulties. The appearance doesn’t change based on difficulty, so you can try your luck first on one difficulty and then on another.
• Completing the raid may require several players due to the special mechanics of some bosses. We recommend going for the loot as part of a group — this will make the task significantly easier.
