Red Flame Burner — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Red Flame Burner is a two-handed firearm transmog added to the game in patch 11.1.5 as part of The War Within expansion. The weapon is crafted in a dark iron style: a heavy metal frame with red fiery accents gives it a menacing and memorable look. The item adds its appearance to the account-wide transmog collection — meaning that once obtained, it becomes available to every character on your account capable of using firearms.

Red Flame Burner is sold at the Trading Post for 150 Trader's Tender.
The Trading Post is located in several cities:
- Orgrimmar (Horde) — the "Zen'shiri" Trading Post.
- Stormwind (Alliance) — the "T&W" Trading Post.
- Bel'ameth — the neutral Trading Post.
Trader's Tender is granted every month: 500 Tender for interacting with the Collector's Cache, plus up to 500 more Tender for completing activities in the Traveler's Log. The item first appeared at the Trading Post in June 2025 and has returned to rotation in subsequent months. If it is not available in the current month, wait for the next rotation.
Alternatives / Recolors
The Red Flame Burner is part of a series of four variants of the same weapon model, differing in color scheme. All of them are sold at the Trading Post for the same price:
| Name | Color | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Blue / icy | Trading Post, 150 Tender | |
| Green | Trading Post, 150 Tender | |
| Red / fiery | Trading Post, 150 Tender | |
| Yellow / golden | Trading Post, 150 Tender |
All four variants use the exact same model silhouette and differ only in coloring. Each one is account-wide bound — you can collect them on any character with access to the Trading Post.
Who It Suits Visually
- It pairs perfectly with fiery and volcanic hunter sets, above all with the Tier 12 armor — the "Flameburner's Battlegear" from the Firelands raid: the red-and-black color scheme and molten metal motif match the weapon's palette.
- It suits transmogs in dark red and orange tones with an emphasis on mechanical or gnomish visual themes — the weapon fits well into blacksmith and engineer looks.
- It looks great combined with dark iron chestpieces and shoulders: the angular metallic shapes of the weapon's frame support the overall aesthetic of heavy forged armor.
- It contrasts with elegant elven and nature-themed sets: for such looks the
Green Flame Burner or
Coldflame Burner are better choices. - For golden-sunny color schemes (for example, to match the weapon from the June 2026 Trading Post rotation), the
Yellow Flame Burner is a better fit.
Tips
Firearm transmogs in WoW can only be used by hunters — they are the only class actively using bows, guns, and crossbows in combat. Make sure in advance that the transmog is applied to the right character.
The item is account-wide bound immediately upon purchase: the appearance is added to the collection for all hunter characters on your account.
If the
Red Flame Burner is missing from the current Trading Post rotation, you can freeze it for the next month using the "Freeze" feature — that way the item won't leave the shop at the end of the month.
The cost of 150 Trader's Tender is one of the most affordable at the Trading Post. With 500 base Tender granted each month, the purchase does not require completing additional activities.
All four recolors in the series can be collected in any order — they are not linked to each other through achievements or quest chains. Each is purchased separately for 150 Tender.
The weapon has been sold at the Trading Post since June 2025 and has returned to rotation — keep an eye on the Trading Post inventory updates at the start of each month.
