Game iconRemnant Charglaive is an epic one-handed glaive from the Dragonflight expansion, added alongside the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid in patch 10.2. It is a paired blade: a curved edge on a short shaft, finished in a naturally emerald palette with smoldering fiery veins running along the edge. The combination of green wood and orange heat nods to the raid's theme — the clash of the Emerald Dream with the flames of Fyrakk.

The model belongs to the warglaive class, so it is primarily intended for demon hunters, who wield a glaive in each hand. Warriors can also use one-handed glaives as a transmog appearance.

This is a vivid weapon with a clear theme: thanks to the fiery accents on a green background, the glaive looks great in appearances built around the element of fire or nature.

Source

The glaive drops from one of the bosses in the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid.

  • The source is Smolderon, the eighth boss of the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid.
  • The drop chance from Smolderon is around 33%, which makes farming fairly quick by raid transmog standards.
  • To access the raid, you need to unlock Amirdrassil itself over the course of the Dragonflight campaign.
  • The glaive becomes soulbound on acquisition and cannot be traded to another player.
  • The raid resets once a week, so you get one attempt per character per game week.

Smolderon is positioned near the end of the raid roster, right before the final boss Fyrakk. At the current max level of 90, the path to him can be cleared solo without serious difficulty, so killing Fyrakk for this appearance is not required. To increase the number of attempts per week, it makes sense to run several characters through the boss.

Alternatives

This model has a recolor of the same blade shape, obtained from Dragonflight content.

Dream Raider's Emerald Charglaive Dragonflight PvP reward Game iconitem=217671

Game iconDream Raider's Emerald Charglaive uses the same paired-blade silhouette and a similar emerald-and-fire palette, but is earned from PvP activities of the same season. If the raid version refuses to drop, this is a convenient way to assemble the same look through a different route.

Who It Suits Visually

  • Perfectly completes the look of a demon hunter leaning into the nature-and-fire theme of the Emerald Dream.
  • Pairs with the green-and-orange armor sets from the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid for a unified set style.
  • Harmonizes with appearances built around fire: the smoldering veins of the blade echo red-and-orange armor.
  • Stands out against dark or shadow gear, where the bright blade becomes the main accent.
  • Suits druidic and kaldorei aesthetics thanks to the green wood at the core of the model.

Tips

1

Get the glaive on several characters: each one grants a separate weekly attempt, and the roughly 33% chance is already high.

2

Raid difficulty does not matter for the appearance — the model is identical on every difficulty, so pick the fastest mode for a solo run.

3

At level 90 the path to Smolderon is cleared solo; you do not need to kill the final boss Fyrakk for this glaive.

4

It is a paired blade, so a demon hunter can wield two of these glaives at once — a single acquired copy is enough for both appearance slots.

5

If the raid version stubbornly refuses to drop, assemble the same look through the PvP recolor of the same season.

6

Clear the raid weekly alongside the other Amirdrassil bosses — the rest of the set's transmog drops along the way.
