Rockjaw Blade — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Rockjaw Blade is a one-handed sword of common quality dating back to the very first days of World of Warcraft. It is a short, rough blade with a wide edge and a plain hilt, kept in a steely gray-steel palette without any ornamentation. The model perfectly captures the look of a primitive weapon wielded by the troggs — the ancient race that inhabits the dungeons of Dun Morogh.
The blade fills a one-handed weapon slot and suits any class that can wield swords. For transmogrification the stats do not matter: once bound, the item unlocks its appearance in the wardrobe, after which the blade can be equipped on a character of any level.
The model's main value is its honest "low-level" aesthetic. If you are putting together a vagabond, savage, or fledgling adventurer set, this sword fills the weapon slot with a simple silhouette free of shine and magical effects. On the overall equipment screen it reads as a utilitarian working blade rather than a trophy.
Source
The blade drops from a single enemy — the Rockjaw Raider, a level 1–10 trogg. These mobs live in the dwarf and gnome starting zone — Dun Morogh, near Coldridge Pass in the west of the area.
- The drop chance is about 0.42 %, so you will most likely have to kill several dozen raiders to get the appearance.
- The supply is unlimited: raiders respawn quickly, and there is no limit on attempts per day or per week.
- The sword binds when equipped, so it can be bought from another player on the auction house if you do not want to farm it yourself.
- The raiders stand in small groups on the slopes and at cave entrances — the easiest way to farm is to clear the whole spot completely and circle back around.

Who It Suits Visually
- Harmonizes with vagabond, rogue, or savage style sets — simple leather and cloth outfits without gilding.
- Fills the one-handed weapon slot for a fledgling adventurer look, where deliberately plain gear matters.
- Suits "troggish" and cave themes thanks to the blade's rough, primitive model.
- Stands out in contrast next to richly decorated armor, emphasizing the weapon's harsh, utilitarian character.
Tips
The blade is easiest to farm with a dwarf or gnome character: the raiders stand right next to the starting zone, so you barely need to travel.
For a low-level character the mobs grant experience, so you can combine farming the appearance with leveling through Dun Morogh.
At high level the raiders die in a single hit — budget 15–30 minutes for collecting the appearance, accounting for mob respawns.
If you do not want to farm, check the auction house: the item only binds when equipped, and it is sometimes put up for sale.
Clear the whole raider spot at once and move in a circle — that way respawns have time to ready a new target by the time you return.
The appearance unlocks for the entire account, so collecting it once with any character is enough.

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
