Savage Briaredge is a two-handed strength battle axe added to World of Warcraft in the Midnight expansion (patch 12.x). The weapon suits classes that wield two-handed strength axes — warriors, paladins, and death knights.

This is an epic weapon from the first Midnight season: item level 276 at the Heroic upgrade tier. As a transmog, the axe is prized for its "briar" wild aesthetic — the interweaving of thorns and dark bark fits nature-themed and corrupted looks well.

The axe is purchased from the delve gear vendor Zah'ran — an ethereal who appears at the treasure cache at the end of a completed delve.
