Overview

Коса Порабощенного

Game iconScythe of the Unmaker is an epic-quality two-handed polearm styled as a staff. It is the cosmic blade of Argus the Unmaker, the final boss of the Antorus, the Burning Throne raid that concluded the Legion expansion's storyline. The model combines black titanic metal with pulsing blue-and-gold veins of cosmic energy and a distinctive curved scythe blade.

Originally this weapon was a polearm and available only to classes that wield that weapon type. As part of the Legion Remix event, staff variants were added, so the silhouette can now be carried by mages, priests, warlocks, druids, monks, shamans, and evokers. This is the blue staff variant — the base color scheme with a cold blue-and-gold glow.

Source

The staff is sold by the vendor Pythagorus in the Infinite Bazaar — the trade district of Dalaran above the Broken Isles. The vendor's coordinates are roughly /way 71 42.

You will need two currencies to buy it.

  • 30,000 Bronze — the main currency of the Legion Remix event.
  • 20 of the item Game iconCosmic Soulsliver — the raid currency of Legion Remix.

Cosmic Soulslivers drop from the final boss Argus the Unmaker in the Antorus, the Burning Throne raid. The amount depends on difficulty.

  • Normal mode — 1 sliver per kill.
  • Heroic mode — 4 slivers per kill.
  • Mythic mode — 10 slivers per kill.

In Raid Finder no slivers drop at all, so you need to clear Antorus on at least Normal difficulty. During Legion Remix the raid has a daily reset, so you can farm the currency every day.

Visual Pairings

  • Harmonizes with cosmic and titanic themes — for example, with sets in blue-and-gold and obsidian tones.
  • The cold blue-and-gold glow looks great with plate and cloth sets in dark shades.
  • The curved scythe blade makes the staff an expressive choice for reaper, necromancer, or dark mystic looks.
  • It contrasts with bright holy looks — a debatable but striking combination.

Tips

1

It is best to farm slivers on Mythic difficulty — 10 per kill versus 1 on Normal.

2

If Mythic is unavailable, Heroic with 4 slivers per run is still noticeably faster than Normal.

3

A single staff requires 20 slivers, so on Normal difficulty you will need 20 runs, while on Mythic just 2.

4

Bronze piles up in Legion Remix from many sources, so the sliver currency usually becomes the bottleneck rather than bronze.

5

The blue and red staves are purchased separately — each needs 30,000 bronze and 20 slivers.

6

The green color scheme requires no slivers at all, but it does require a full clear of Antorus on Mythic difficulty.

7

The weapon is account-bound, so a collected scythe can be passed to any of your characters.

8

Since a staff variant was added, this transmog is now available to classes that previously had no access to the polearm original.

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
