Seabraid Stallion

Seabraid Stallion is an Alliance ground mount that was given to buyers of the Collector's and Digital Deluxe editions of Battle for Azeroth. It is a Kul Tiran warhorse in heavy sea-themed barding: a dark grey coat, a mane braided into "sea" plaits and trident-motif armor that nods to the fleet of Kul Tiras. According to the lore, these horses are trained from an early age not to fear the sea, and they happily race along the shore through the spray of the waves.

The mount was added to the game in patch 7.3.5 (January 16, 2018), ahead of the expansion's release, so that pre-order buyers could immediately unlock the collector bonus. Adding the Seabraid Stallion to your collection grants the achievement Collector's Edition: Seabraid Stallion.

• A rare Kul Tiran horse model — it is one of the few ground mounts in the game visually tied to the fleet of Kul Tiras. The sea harness, battle armor and "salt-worn" mane are not repeated on any other Alliance steed
• Collector bonus status — the mount was given only to those who bought the Collector's or Deluxe edition of Battle for Azeroth, and later it was sold for a short time bundled with the Horde mount. Every Seabraid Stallion in the crowd is a sign that the player caught BfA at launch or managed to buy the bundle before it was pulled from sale
• An achievement on your profile — along with the mount you are credited with Collector's Edition: Seabraid Stallion. Achievements are shown in the achievement log as a separate block and do not disappear when you change faction or delete a character
• Account-wide access — once obtained, the mount unlocks on all Alliance characters on your account, with no need to repeat the procedure on each hero

The Seabraid Stallion does not drop from bosses and is not sold for in-game currency. It is a gift for buying an external Blizzard product, and over time it had three ways of being obtained.

1. Pre-order or purchase of the BfA Collector's edition (2018)

The mount was given to buyers of:

• The Battle for Azeroth Collector's Edition — a physical box with an art book, a soundtrack and a double-sided Alliance and Horde emblem (it cost 5,999 rubles)
• The Battle for Azeroth Digital Deluxe Edition — a digital version with bonuses for WoW and other Blizzard games

The set also included the Tottle pet with its own achievement, bonuses for Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch and StarCraft II, and an accelerated character level boost to 110.

The Digital Deluxe edition was removed from sale on July 11, 2021, when Blizzard began selling Battle for Azeroth in the base bundle with WoW.

2. The "Seabraid Stallion and Gilded Ravasaur" bundle (2021–2023)

From July 11, 2021 to April 17, 2023, the mount was sold in the Battle.net Shop as a separate set together with the Gilded Ravasaur — the paired Horde mount. The bundle cost roughly 15 dollars (or the regional equivalent). Buying this set unlocked both mounts at once on all account characters, regardless of faction.

3. A short rotation (April 2023)

Just before being pulled from sale, the bundle was included in the Faction Pack Bundle — this was the last chance to buy the Seabraid Stallion directly. After April 17, 2023, the mount disappeared from the Blizzard shop.

There is no direct purchase. Since April 17, 2023, the Seabraid Stallion has been absent from the Battle.net Shop and the in-game shop. You also cannot get it through the usual means — looting it from a boss, buying it for currency, earning it for an achievement — because the mount was never given out for in-game activity.

Possible paths in 2026:

1. You already bought BfA at launch. Check the mount journal in the game: open your collection, the "Mounts" tab, the "Unavailable" filter, or search for the mount by name. If you pre-ordered the Collector's or Deluxe edition, the stallion is very likely already listed in your collection, and the achievement is on your character's profile
2. Buying an old account. This method formally violates Blizzard's terms of use. It is not recommended: if the account is banned, the mount and everything else is lost with no refund
3. Waiting for a return to the Trading Post. In 2023–2025 Blizzard has gradually been returning old unavailable mounts via the Trading Post for Trader's Tender. The Seabraid Stallion technically fits this format, but as of April 2026 it has never appeared in the rotation of monthly Trading Post goods. Keep an eye on the monthly list — if the mount returns, you will be able to claim it for 900–1,000 Trader's Tender
4. Waiting for a return to the shop. Based on the experience of other discontinued mounts, Blizzard sometimes brings them back through limited promotions for WoW anniversaries or new expansion editions

The Seabraid Stallion's model uses the Kul Tiran horse skeleton, but with a unique set of textures and armor not repeated on other mounts:

• Coat — a deep grey-blue color with whitish speckles imitating sea salt and spray
• Mane and tail — braided into thick plaits with woven-in metal ornaments, hence the name "Seabraid"
• Harness — steel and darkened leather with anchor and trident motifs, the symbols of the Kul Tiras naval fleet
• Saddle — a heavy battle saddle, with a raised pommel and extra protection
• Hooves — shod with reinforced horseshoes, differing in model from ordinary horses

The model differs from the standard horses of Stormwind and Redridge: the Seabraid Stallion is larger in size, visually closer to warhorses. A similar model is used only by Kul Tiran characters in Boralus and on the Alliance warships during the Battle for Azeroth campaign.

• Check your old Battle.net purchases. If you pre-ordered BfA in 2018 or bought the bundle in 2021–2023, the mount should be activated automatically. Log into the game, open the mount collection and search for "Seabraid" — if the mount is there, you may simply have overlooked it
• Do not buy the mount from middlemen. Offers to "unlock the mount" for real money on third-party sites are almost always tied to account theft or a fake delivery. Blizzard will not restore access after such a deal
• Watch the Trading Post announcements. At the start of each month Blizzard publishes the list of goods. Subscribe to wowhead or wow.gg news so you don't miss a possible return
• Compare it with the paired Horde mount. If your account has characters of both factions, use both mounts in their "native" content: the Seabraid Stallion looks great in Boralus and on the coast of Tiragarde, while the Gilded Ravasaur fits Zuldazar
• Mark the mount as a favorite. In the current WoW collection you can add a mount to your favorites so that it comes up more often in the random selection with the "Random Mount" command
