Sho'ravon, Greatstaff of Annihilation — Transmog Set Guide

Sho'ravon, Greatstaff of Annihilation is an epic two-handed staff for casters, added to World of Warcraft alongside the Firelands raid (Cataclysm, patch 4.2). The staff grants Intellect and is meant for classes that wield the power of the mind: mages, warlocks, priests, shamans, and druids in damage or healing specializations.

The model is styled after the entire Firelands raid: a dark, charred shaft topped with living flame burning around a white-hot core. The fire lights up the runic carvings along its full length, so the staff visibly "breathes" heat even at rest. This makes it an expressive finishing touch for fiery and infernal Tier 12 sets.

Two versions of the staff exist in the game: one from the normal raid mode and one from heroic. They are completely identical in appearance, so either one works for transmog.

The staff drops from the final boss of the Firelands raid — Ragnaros. He is the last and most difficult opponent in the dungeon, so you will have to clear all the previous bosses to reach him.

• The Firelands raid belongs to the Cataclysm expansion and opens without any additional quests — you just need to reach the entrance in Hyjal.
• The version of the staff from our guide drops from the heroic mode of the Ragnaros fight.
• There is also a normal-mode counterpart — Sho'ravon, Greatstaff of Annihilation with the exact same appearance.
• The drop is not guaranteed: the staff is part of Ragnaros's general loot table, so several runs may be needed.
• The raid lockout is once per week per character, so it is convenient to spread the farm across several heroes.
