Overview

Длинный лук зловещего претендента

Game iconSinister Aspirant's Longbow is a blue-quality bow from the Battle for Azeroth expansion, part of the Season 2 PvP weapon set. The model echoes the elegant night elf bow of the Warfronts era: a slender arc with a vine-like pattern and a cold glow on the bowstring. It is a restrained, "elven" silhouette without bulky details.

Unlike many PvP reward items from past seasons, this bow's appearance can still be obtained: it is granted by a special arsenal that is sold for Marks of Honor.

Source

The source type is a seasonal PvP set, available today through an arsenal bought with honor currency.

  • The appearance is part of the Battle for Azeroth Season 2 weapon set with the "Sinister" epithet.
  • The easiest way to unlock it is to grab the whole set at once: get Game iconArsenal: Sinister Aspirant's Weapons, an item that unlocks the appearances of every weapon type in this set at once, including the bow.
  • The arsenal is sold for the Game iconMark of Honor currency from the PvP arsenal vendor at the faction's war headquarters — in Zuldazar for the Horde and in Boralus for the Alliance.
  • The arsenal is cheap — a few dozen Marks of Honor, which are easy to gather from old PvP content.
  • Historically, the bow dropped during Season 2 from War Mode war caches and from rated PvP, but it is now more reliable to get it through the arsenal.

Alternatives

This bow has a direct recolor of the same model — the epic gladiator version from the same season. The silhouette is identical; only the coloring differs.

  • Sinister Gladiator's Longbow is the epic version of the same bow with a richer coloring; it is unlocked through Game iconArsenal: Sinister Gladiator's Weapons.
  • Both versions use the same night elf model, so the choice between them is a matter of your preferred shade.

Who It Suits Visually

  • Night elf and Sentinel looks: the model comes from the night elf arsenal of the Warfronts.
  • Sets in a natural green-and-silver palette: the vine pattern of the arc supports the forest theme.
  • Light, agile silhouettes for hunters and rangers: the slender bow does not overload the look.
  • Builds with a cold glow: the bowstring lighting pairs well with frost and lunar armor effects.

Tips

1

If you only want the appearance, do not chase a random drop — it is better to buy the set's arsenal for Marks of Honor right away.

2

Marks of Honor are convenient to gather by running through old PvP activities and seasons where they are awarded.

3

A single arsenal unlocks a whole group of the season's weapon appearances, not just the bow — get it for the entire set.

4

For a richer shade, also grab the gladiator version: the model is the same, only the coloring differs.

5

The bow is useful for hunters — they are the only class that wields bows in the current version of the game.
