Get Suffused Kris

Suffused Kris is a one-handed dagger of uncommon quality, added to World of Warcraft with the Dragonflight expansion (patch 10.1, "Embers of Neltharion"). It is a light, wavy kris-type blade with a distinctive serpentine edge; the model is steeped in a dark-flame motif — red-hot metal laced with smoldering shadowflame veins, forged by Fyrakk's minions.

The dagger belongs to caster weapons: the item page lists the specializations of mages, druids, priests, shamans, warlocks, and Augmentation. By its stats it is a level 70 item with an intellect bonus, so players seek it primarily for the appearance rather than for combat parameters.

The Suffused Kris drops during the Fyrakk Assaults — a world event of the Dragonflight expansion introduced in patch 10.1. The Primalists led by Fyrakk seize one of two zones of the Dragon Isles, and players are invited to retake the territory.

Where the event takes place:

• The assaults alternate between the zones of The Waking Shores and The Azure Span.
• The active zone changes once a week at the weekly reset — at any given time the assault is happening in only one of the two zones.
• To gain access to the event, you need to complete the third chapter of the patch 10.1 campaign.

How to farm the appearance through the suffusion camp:

• Kill ordinary Primalist warriors in the assault zone until you collect 5 Igira's Wards.
• Turn in the Igira's Wards at the suffusion crucible — an elite enemy will appear that drops Fyrakk's Wards.
• Accumulate 5 Fyrakk's Wards and use them at the suffusion form to summon a forgemaster.
• Defeat the forgemaster: it drops gear from the Suffused set, including weapons.

Quest reward:

• The dagger is also granted as one of the reward options for the quest Suffuse, Reuse, Recycle — in it you need to gather suffused ingots from Fyrakk's warriors.
• The quest reward lets you choose one weapon from the set, so the Suffused Kris must be chosen deliberately if you specifically want the dagger appearance.
• The appearance can also be obtained directly from the assault enemies — Suffused set weapons drop from foes in the event zone.

The Fyrakk Assaults are Dragonflight expansion content, and the item has long ceased to be relevant in terms of stats. Today players go after it exclusively for the transmogrification appearance.

• It harmonizes with themed fire and dark-flame ensembles — the dagger's red-hot veins echo any armor in a red-orange-black palette.
• It looks great paired with another weapon from the Suffused set — for example, the Suffused Warglaive, if you are assembling a Primalist warrior look.
• It suits Legion and demonic-themed characters thanks to the blade's smoldering dark glow.
• It contrasts with cold blue armor — a debatable but expressive choice for a "fire versus ice" look.
