Get Terror Flame Dagger

Terror Flame Dagger is a rare one-handed dagger from The Burning Crusade expansion. The slender blade is decorated with a faceted “flame” pattern that echoes the aesthetic of the burning halls of Hellfire Citadel on Hellfire Peninsula.

For collectors, the Terror Flame Dagger is interesting first and foremost for its fiery model: it fits neatly into the “hellfire” sets of Outland and stylistically matches the green-and-orange palette of the dungeons on Hellfire Peninsula.

The dagger drops from Omor the Unscarred, the second boss of the Hellfire Ramparts dungeon. This is the first dungeon of Hellfire Citadel, located in the center of Hellfire Peninsula in Outland.

Drop parameters:

• Drop chance from the fight — about 3% per kill.
• Available on both normal and heroic dungeon difficulties.
• The normal version has no daily cap on the number of clears — you can re-enter the dungeon and farm the boss as many times as you need.
• The heroic version has a shared per-character daily dungeon cap. At level 70-90+ heroic mode no longer increases the chance — for transmog, normal difficulty is more efficient.
• The boss dies in one or two hits on any character from level 40 and above, so farming is as fast as possible.

For solo farming, a character of level 40 or higher will do. At that level the boss dies instantly, and the run from the entrance to Omor takes 2-3 minutes — the path goes straight through two packs of mobs and one guardian boss (Watchkeeper Gargolmar), who can be skirted along the right wall of the hall.

The dungeon entrance is in Hellfire Citadel, in the center of the Hellfire zone in Outland. To reach Outland, a character must have access through the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands. At level 30+ this is always possible — the chromie time system or a direct flight works for any character.

• Stands out in light rogue sets — for example, with white leather armor from Outland seasons 2-3, as a bright color accent.
• Harmonizes with a paired dagger in a “two different blades” style — one fiery in the main hand, the other a calm shade in the off hand.
