Thunderdrum Misfire
Overview

Thunderdrum Misfire is a flying mount in the form of a goblin rocket, added in patch 11.1.0 of The War Within expansion (second season). This mount is sold by vendor Ando Bullit on the second floor of the Incontinental Hotel inside the Liberation of Undermine raid. To purchase it, you must reach Renown level 8 with the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club faction.
The Thunderdrum Misfire is a red goblin rocket with a mechanical design. It is one of several rocket mounts available through the raid renown system in the Liberation of Undermine. The mount's description reads: "Discovered in the stands of the Cauldron during a particularly bloody bout. When asked whether it was an unexploded shell, the Torq operator simply replied, 'Maybe?'"

- Renown level 8 with the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club faction
- 500 gold to purchase from the vendor
How to Get the Mount — Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Start Running the Liberation of Undermine Raid
The Liberation of Undermine is the second raid of The War Within expansion, located in Undermine. The raid features 8 bosses and is available on all difficulty levels: Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic.
Step 2: Earn Renown with the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club
Renown with the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club faction is earned exclusively inside the raid. You gain reputation points by killing bosses and named lieutenants:
Bosses (4,300 reputation total for a full clear):
- Bosses 1–6 — 450 reputation each (2,700 for six)
- Mug'Zee, Heads of Security (7th boss) — 600 reputation
- Chrome King Gallywix (final boss) — 1,000 reputation
Lieutenants (700 reputation total):
- 7 named lieutenants among the trash mobs — 100 reputation each
In total, a full raid clear grants you 5,000 reputation per week. Each renown level requires 2,500 reputation, meaning in one week you earn exactly two levels.
Step 3: Wait for Renown Level 8
The renown system uses a weekly global cap. In the first week you can advance up to level 2, after which the cap increases by one level each week. Thus, reaching level 8 will take approximately 4 weeks of regular raiding.
If you started later, a catch-up mechanic applies: you'll be able to gain up to two renown levels per week until you catch up to the current cap.
Step 4: Buy the Mount from Ando Bullit
After reaching Renown level 8, head to vendor Ando Bullit, who is located on the second floor of the Incontinental Hotel inside the Liberation of Undermine raid.
How to find Ando Bullit:
- Enter the Liberation of Undermine raid (you must be in a raid group)
- Right after entering, go up the stairs to the second floor
- Turn left and walk to the far part of the room
- Ando Bullit stands by the wall — talk to him and buy the mount for 500 gold
Tips and Useful Information
- Raid difficulty does not affect reputation — the amount of reputation points is the same on all difficulty levels, including Raid Finder. If you don't take part in organized groups, feel free to use Raid Finder.
- Be sure to loot — reputation is only awarded when you receive loot from a boss or lieutenant. Make sure you loot every defeated enemy.
- Renown applies to the entire warband — reputation progress is shared across all characters on the account. You can run the raid on different characters and the reputation will accumulate.
- Raid pass — at renown level 5 you receive a pass that lets you teleport directly to the 7th and 8th bosses. This significantly speeds up weekly clears.
- Other mounts at Ando Bullit — besides the Thunderdrum Misfire, this vendor also sells two more mounts:
Darkfuse Demolibird at renown level 17 (500 gold) and
Blackrocket Fireworker at renown level 20 (777 gold). - Renown bonuses — as your renown grows, you receive various bonuses inside the raid: increased damage and healing (up to 18% at level 20), a hearthstone back to the hotel, increased movement speed, and resurrection.
