Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.

Voidsong, Stave of the Harbinger is an epic-quality two-handed staff added to World of Warcraft in the Dragonflight expansion (patch 10.1.7). It is a grim model carved from dark violet wood with a head woven from tentacles and clots of Void energy: the weapon radiates a deep purple glow and reads clearly from a distance even in combat.
According to the item's flavor text, the staff is considered a gift of Dimensius, bestowed at the peak of the Black Empire's might: it bends those bound to the dark to its will. Thematically the item ties directly to Xal'atath, Harbinger of the Void, so it fits any look built around Void motifs and the aesthetics of the Abyss. The staff is cosmetic: it has no stats and exists purely for transmogrification.
Voidsong, Stave of the Harbinger does not drop from a raid or dungeon — it comes from the Arsenal: Cosmic Weapons Cache weapon set. This set was a bonus Trading Post reward for November 2023.
A key feature of the Trading Post: its stock and bonus rewards repeat on rotation. If there is no active way to get the set right now, all that remains is to wait for it to return in one of the coming months. Keep an eye on Trading Post stock announcements so you do not miss the set's reappearance.
The set grants five items at once, so a single filling of the log unlocks the transmog for the sword, the dagger, the broadsword, and the dark blade as well.
Do not put off filling the log until the last days of the month: progress resets with the start of a new Trading Post stock.
The staff is cosmetic and has no stats, so you can freely apply it as a transmog onto any current two-handed weapon of the matching type.
Keep an eye on Trading Post stock announcements: bonus sets from past months periodically return.
The staff's glow is especially noticeable in combat and during cast animations — keep that in mind if you are putting together a look for screenshots or videos.
