Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.

Voltaic Stormcaller is a two-handed staff for spellcasters that grants Intellect and Stamina. It suits specializations that deal spell damage: mages, warlocks, Shadow priests, Elemental shamans and Balance druids. The item was added in The War Within expansion.
The staff model belongs to the Khaz Algar dungeon appearance set — a tall head of stone and metal across which arcs of lightning crackle, with a cold blue-violet glow. The silhouette echoes the earthen architecture and the storm theme that gave the item its name.
The staff carries an on-use combat effect: your spells have a chance to summon a thunderous stormwing that deals Nature damage to nearby enemies and grants you a bit of haste. The effect plays no role in transmog — you only need the appearance itself — but it explains the "stormy" theme of the model.
The appearance drops in the The Rookery dungeon — a The War Within dungeon located in the western part of the Isle of Dorn zone on the Khaz Algar continent.
The most convenient way to farm the appearance is on a low difficulty: Kyrioss is the first boss, and the Normal mode of the dungeon clears in a couple of minutes.
At max level 90 the dungeon is killed quickly, so the limiting factor is only the drop chance, not the difficulty of the fight.
You can run The Rookery as many times in a row as you like: there is no daily limit on the appearance.
In a group the staff rolls between all spellcasters, so for reliable farming it is more profitable to go in solo.
Alongside Kyrioss, the other dungeon bosses also drop the rest of the Khaz Algar set's appearances, so a single run can fill your collection with several items at once.
The appearance needs to be seen in your inventory at least once for it to unlock in the appearance collection: after that you no longer have to wear the item itself.
The farming class makes no difference — any max-level character that clears the dungeon quickly will do.
