The «Winds of Mysterious Fortune» Event — WoW Event Guide

This is a special event during the Midnight pre‑update that will allow players to level up their characters and gain reputation with all factions more quickly. It will run from January 28 to February 25, 2026.

• Experience gained from all sources will be increased by 20 %.
• All reputation will be earned 50 % faster (this applies to both current factions and reputation with factions from previous expansions).
• During gameplay activities (completing quests, killing mobs, running raids and dungeons), you can obtain special Mysterious Bags. Inside them, you can find equipment relevant to your character, various potions, and decorative items for your home.

Equipment

During the event, you’ll be able to get a unique transmogrification set for each armour type:

• Leather

• Plate

• Mail

• Cloth

Mysterious Bags

During this event, you may receive one of three types of bags:

• Uncommon Tattered Mysterious Bag

This bag contains a few consumable items.

• Rare Tattered Mysterious Bag

This bag holds more useful items, plus a chance to get an equipment piece or a potion. Among the potions, you might also have a small chance to receive Bottle of the Potion of Mysterious Wisdom, which grants an additional 10 % experience bonus for 2 hours.

• Mythic Tattered Mysterious Bag

The rarest bag, offering the best rewards. Inside, in addition to consumables and cosmetic items, you have a higher chance to find an equipment piece or potion, including the Bottle of the Potion of Mysterious Wisdom.

Once per day, players can receive the Flawless Mysterious Bag. This bag also contains consumables and cosmetic items and is guaranteed to give you equipment and/or a potion. The chance to receive the Bottle of the Potion of Mysterious Wisdom is significantly increased.

Additionally, the Flawless Mysterious Bag has a chance to drop the Fortune‑Bringing Bag. This is a unique 30‑slot bag that binds to your party.

• Bottle of the Potion of Mysterious Wisdom will not disappear after the event ends. This bonus can be used at any time, regardless of the event buff. The potion can be shared with your party members via the guild bank, and it’s available to all characters below level 80.

• Since all event items are shared across your party, you can claim the Flawless Mysterious Bag with all your characters and then transfer potions and equipment to other party members — getting more rewards than you would with a single character.
