Bestowed Thunderspine Packleader

Bestowed Thunderspine Packleader is an epic ground mount added to World of Warcraft in patch 10.2.6 Dragonflight. It is a massive green thunderspine lizard, blessed by Merithra of the green dragonflight to protect the Maruuk Centaur clans. The mount resembles the tundra thunderspines you encounter in the Ohn'ahran Plains, and stands out from ordinary ones thanks to its deep emerald coloring and its ceremonial centaur harness.

The mount is awarded for the meta-achievement In Tune — a zone meta-quest that revolves around exploring the Ohn'ahran Plains and helping the Maruuk Centaur faction. Unlike most Dragonflight mounts, it is not tied to a renown level: you simply need to complete the eight sub-achievements that together cover nearly all of the zone's content.

• A unique thunderspine model — this is one of the few rideable thunderspines in the game, and the only one in a green coloring with Maruuk ornamentation. The model scales with your character's riding skill.
• Account-wide — once obtained, the mount is unlocked on all of your characters.
• 10 out of 10 speed — a +60% or +100% bonus to movement speed depending on the riding skill you have learned.
• No reputation required — you do not need to grind renown with the centaurs to high levels.
• Clears zone content — along the way you earn In Tune and make noticeable progress on the meta-achievement across all of the Dragon Isles.
• A bonus pet — a visually matching companion is available from other activities and forms a visual pair with the mount.

The main path is to fully complete the meta-achievement In Tune. It is split into two groups: Grand Hunt achievements and achievements for exploring the Ohn'ahran Plains.

1. Complete the Dragonflight story line in the Ohn'ahran Plains and reach renown level 5 with the Maruuk Centaur faction. This unlocks access to daily quests and the Grand Hunt
2. Pick up the introductory quest The Hunt Calls from Roki in Maruukai and complete it by speaking with mentor Frodrum. After that you will be able to take part in the Grand Hunt
3. Complete all eight sub-achievements described in the "Meta-Achievement Structure" section, one after another
4. Wait for the meta-achievement In Tune to be granted automatically — the mount will drop into your bag by mail or directly into your journal

To obtain the mount you must complete all eight sub-achievements that make up In Tune. They split into two thematic groups.

Grand Hunt Achievements

The Grand Hunt is a scenario event of the Maruuk Centaur, active every two hours in one of the Dragon Isles zones. To take part you must complete The Hunt Calls at renown 5.

Ohn'ahran Plains Achievements

Before you start hunting for the mount, meet the basic requirements.

1. Activate your account on the current version of the game — Dragonflight content remains available at level 80 in The War Within
2. Complete the introductory Dragonflight story chain and unlock the Ohn'ahran Plains via the quest Ohn'ahran Plains
3. Raise your renown with the Maruuk Centaur to level 5 — this unlocks the Grand Hunt. Renown is gained through side quests, world quests, Ko-tal Krax events, and turning in Hunting Trophies to mentor Bask in Maruukai
4. Make sure you have unlocked dragonriding — some achievements will require quick travel between the islands' zones
5. Keep a free inventory slot and acquire a Path of the Hunt stone for fast returns

Weekly Routine

A smart order of operations lets you clear the meta-achievement in 3–5 weeks even without daily grinding.

1. Every day open the Dragon Isles map and head to the active Grand Hunt location — one such hunt grants 3–6 stages toward Travelling Hunter and credit toward Master Hunter
2. At each hunt, find Hemet Nesingwary Jr. nearby and interact with him — progress on Discontented Hunter goes along in parallel
3. After the hunt, check the popup boss list and try to finish off the event's "big" boss specifically for The Best of the Best
4. Collect the bakar and ohuna coloration trophies that drop as an optional reward — this fills out Tetrachromancy

Local Achievements in the Ohn'ahran Plains

The three zone achievements are easiest to clear in a single run across the map.

• Plot a route across all 20 bakar for Good Bakar. Some of the dogs only appear after the quest chain Free the Hound — complete it in advance
• Gather the 6 items for Treasures of the Ohn'ahran Plains — they are scattered across the whole zone and are marked on the map
• For Ohn'ahran Plains Adventurer keep an eye on rare timers and use community channels — each rare needs its own personal credit
