Get Biletooth Gnasher mount
Overview

Biletooth Gnasher is a rare ground mount from the felhound family, added in patch 7.3 of the Legion expansion. This demonic beast, with its distinctive bile-green fangs and bony growths, drops from rare elite enemies in the Antoran Wastes on Argus. The mount journal description reads: "Its bite is definitely worse than its bark — or rather, a gurgling sound that resembles a bark."
The mount binds on pickup and, once learned, becomes available to every character on your account.
Why You Want This Mount
- Unique demonic model — the Biletooth Gnasher belongs to the rare felhound family. Only four mounts in the game use this model, and this is one of the few you can obtain without buying a collector's edition
- Prestige — its low drop rate (around 3%) makes the mount noticeable and valued among collectors
- Easy to farm — at the current level cap, the rare mobs on Argus die in a few seconds. You only need to find the right enemy and land a single hit
- No reputation required — unlike other Argus mounts, the Biletooth Gnasher is not tied to reputation with any faction. You simply have to kill the mob and get the drop
- Account-wide — once learned, the mount appears in the mount journal on all your characters
How to Get It
The Biletooth Gnasher drops from two rare elite enemies in the Antoran Wastes on Argus. Both mobs are part of the zone's rare enemy rotation.
- Unlock access to Argus by starting the quest chain in Dalaran on the Broken Isles. Pick up the quest "The Hand of Fate" from Khadgar (for the Horde) or "A Burning Path" (for the Alliance)
- Progress through the main storyline across Krokuun and Mac'Aree to open up the Antoran Wastes
- Travel to the Antoran Wastes and check whether one of the two rares — Puscilla or Vrax'thul — is available
- Kill the mob you found and check the loot — each of them drops the
Biletooth Gnasher at roughly a 3% chance - If the mount doesn't drop, come back in 4 hours when the rare rotation changes, or try on another character
Where to Find Puscilla
Puscilla is a level 47 mother of imps located in a cave in the northern part of the Antoran Wastes. The cave entrance coordinates are 65.6, 26.6. Puscilla herself is deep inside the cave at coordinates 64.0, 20.8.
To reach her:
- Find the imp-filled cave in the northern part of the zone
- Head inside and move deeper — at the fork, turn right
- Puscilla is at the far end of the cave
Note: the world quest marker on the map may not appear exactly above the cave. Rely on the coordinates instead.
Where to Find Vrax'thul
Vrax'thul is a level 47 inquisitor demon located at the Scavenger's Boneyard in the central part of the Antoran Wastes, just northwest of the zone's center.
Coordinates: 53.1, 35.8.
Vrax'thul stands out in the open and is visible from a distance.
Rare Spawn Mechanics on Argus
Rare elite enemies on Argus work on a rotation system that differs from the standard rare mobs in other zones.
- Rotation every 4 hours — the set of available rares changes roughly every 4 hours. Not all rare enemies are available at the same time
- Loot once per day per character — each rare mob drops loot only on the first kill of the day. Repeat kills on the same day yield no loot
- Respawn within the window — while a rare is in the rotation, it respawns about 2 minutes after being killed. If you didn't make it in time, wait a moment
- World quests — when a world quest is active on Puscilla or Vrax'thul, they are guaranteed available for the entire duration of the quest
Farming Optimization
Daily Plan
- Log in and head to Argus through the portal on Krasus' Landing in Dalaran (Broken Isles)
- Open the Antoran Wastes map and check for rare mob icons (silver skulls)
- If Puscilla or Vrax'thul is available — kill them
- Repeat on other characters for extra attempts
Farming on Multiple Characters
Since loot from each rare mob is available once per day per character, using multiple characters significantly increases your chances.
- Any character level 10+ with access to Argus can try their luck
- With two rares and a ~3% chance each, two kills per day give roughly a 6% combined chance per character
- With five characters, your daily chance rises to ~26%
Useful Addons and Macros
To track available rares, use the RareScanner or HandyNotes: Argus addon. They display the location and status of all rare enemies on the map.
A macro for quickly checking the target:
/tar Puscilla
/tar Vrax'thul
If the name doesn't highlight, the mob is currently not available in the rotation.
Tips
Check the rotation — don't waste time flying to Puscilla's cave if she isn't in the current rotation. Look at the map first
Use the TomTom addon — enter the /way commands from this guide for automatic navigation to the right coordinates
Don't confuse her with Mother Rosula — in the same cave where Puscilla dwells, you can summon another rare mob, Mother Rosula. She is summoned with 100 chunks of imp meat, but the Biletooth Gnasher does not drop from her
Chromie's system — if your character is below level 50, enable the Legion timeline through Chromie to access Argus content
Achievement progress — killing Puscilla and Vrax'thul counts toward the "Adventurer of Argus" and "Commander of Argus" achievements, so you advance other goals at the same time
Quick access — after unlocking Argus, use the permanent portal on Krasus' Landing in Dalaran for instant travel to Vindicaar, from where you can easily reach the Antoran Wastes via the teleport beacons
