Get Blacksteel Battleboar mount
Overview

Blacksteel Battleboar is a ground mount from the Warlords of Draenor expansion. It is a massive battle boar clad in heavy spiked blacksteel armor. The mount is the reward for the guild achievement Guild Glory of the Draenor Raider and is purchased from the guild vendor once it is completed.
The item description reads: "Will refuse to charge unless its head is encased in heavy spiked metal. It's a matter of pride."
Why you want this mount
- Prestige — the mount is available only to members of guilds that have defeated the final bosses of the Draenor raids on Mythic difficulty. It is a symbol of your guild's serious raiding accomplishments
- Appearance — an imposing battle boar in dark spiked armor. It belongs to the Iron Horde battle boar line and stands out among similar mounts with its aggressive design
- Collector value — one of the few mounts that require the coordination of an entire guild. The boar model shares its base with other mounts in the series (Frostplains Battleboar, Tusked Felboar and others), but this particular tint is an exclusive reward for the guild achievement
- Accessibility — you don't have to personally take part in the boss kills. It is enough to join a guild that has already completed the achievement and reach Exalted with it
How to obtain
To obtain this mount you must meet two requirements:
- Be in a guild with the achievement "Guild Glory of the Draenor Raider" — this is a guild meta-achievement that requires defeating the final bosses of the Draenor raids on Mythic difficulty with a guild group
- Have Exalted reputation with your guild — without this reputation level the mount will not appear in the guild vendor's inventory
Once both requirements are met, you purchase the mount from the guild vendor for 4,000 gold.

Where to buy the mount
Once the requirements are met, the mount is purchased from guild vendors. They are located in the capital cities of both factions.
For the Horde
Gorum is in Orgrimmar on the Hall of Legends, south of Grommash Hold. He stands next to the entrance to the guild vault.
For the Alliance
Shay Pressler is in Stormwind, in the first building on the left as you enter through the main gates (Trade District).
Guild vendors in other cities
Guild vendors are also available in other capitals: Dalaran, Stormshield, Thunder Bluff, Undercity, Silvermoon (for the Horde), as well as Ironforge, the Exodar and Darnassus (for the Alliance). The inventory is identical for all vendors.
How to complete the achievement
Step 1: Gather a guild raid
You will need at least 16 members from the same guild. Mythic raids are designed for 20 players, and for a guild run to count at least 80% of the group must be members of your guild. The remaining 4 slots can be filled with players from other guilds.
Step 2: Highmaul — Emperor Mar'gok
Highmaul is a 7-boss raid located in Nagrand. Emperor Mar'gok is the final boss. At the current max level characters vastly exceed the required power, and the fight poses no challenge. The main task is to gather the required number of guild members.
Raid entrance: Nagrand (Draenor), approximate coordinates 33, 38.
Step 3: Blackrock Foundry — Warlord Blackhand
Blackrock Foundry is a 10-boss raid located in Gorgrond's Blackrock Canyon. Warlord Blackhand is the final boss. As with Highmaul, at max level the raid is cleared quickly.
Raid entrance: Gorgrond (Draenor), approximate coordinates 51.4, 28.7
Step 4: Purchasing the mount
Once both sub-achievements are completed, the guild automatically earns the meta-achievement. Now any guild member with Exalted reputation can buy the mount from the guild vendor.
Alternative path: joining a guild that already has it
If your guild does not have this achievement and cannot gather a group for Mythic, there is an alternative way:
- Find a guild that has already completed the achievement "Guild Glory of the Draenor Raider". Many large raiding guilds earned it back during Warlords of Draenor
- Join such a guild
- Build Exalted reputation with the guild. Reputation is earned by completing quests, running dungeons and raids, and winning battlegrounds — any activity as part of the guild increases your reputation
- Buy the mount from the guild vendor for 4,000 gold
Reaching Exalted with a new guild can take several weeks of active play.
Tips
Check the achievement in advance — before joining a guild, make sure it really has the achievement "Guild Glory of the Draenor Raider". Open the guild info and check the achievements section
Wear a guild tabard — the
Guild Tabard increases guild reputation gains by 100% while running dungeons and raids
If you gather the raid yourself — at the current max level both raids are cleared in minutes. The main challenge is gathering 16 guild members at the same time. Coordinate the schedule through the in-game calendar
Mind the difficulty — the achievement only counts on Mythic difficulty. Make sure the raid is set to Mythic before entering
Don't confuse it with the personal achievement — Glory of the Draenor Raider (without the "Guild" tag) is a different achievement with different requirements and reward (
Mounted Garn Nighthowl). For the boar you need specifically the guild achievement
