Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk2

Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk2 — an epic ground mount added in Patch 11.1 "Undermine" of The War Within. This is a mechanical shredder in the signature blue color scheme of the Blackwater Cartel — a modified version of the classic goblin shredder with reinforced armor and an upgraded drivetrain. The mount is purchased from Bosun Bruiseknuckle, Quartermaster of the Blackwater Cartel, for 8,125 Resonance Crystals at Exalted reputation.

The Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk2 is a goblin combat mech: your character sits inside the cockpit and operates massive mechanical arms with saws. The mount is painted in deep blue tones with gold accents, distinguishing it from other shredder variants in Undermine. The item's flavor text reads: "Don't ask what happened to Mk1."

To purchase the mount you must meet two conditions: reach Exalted reputation with the Blackwater Cartel and accumulate 8,125 Resonance Crystals.

1. Make your way to Undermine — the new zone added in Patch 11.1 of The War Within
2. Speak with Kaidy Rocketgroups at the Uncontinental Hotel and choose the Blackwater Cartel as your weekly faction
3. Complete weekly quests, world quests, and other activities to build reputation with the Blackwater Cartel
4. Simultaneously stockpile Resonance Crystals, which are the shared currency for purchasing rewards from all cartel quartermasters
5. Reach Exalted reputation with the Blackwater Cartel
6. Head to Bosun Bruiseknuckle in the Port Authority building in the Blackwater docks area
7. Purchase the Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk2 for 8,125 Resonance Crystals and use the item to learn the mount

The cartel reputation system in Undermine differs from the standard one. It includes a shared "Cartels of Undermine" faction with 20 renown levels and five individual cartels with a classic reputation bar (Neutral through Exalted).

Choosing Your Weekly Cartel

Each week you choose one cartel to work with. The choice is made through NPC Kaidy Rocketgroups at the Uncontinental Hotel in Undermine. The choice is account-wide — all characters share the same weekly faction. You cannot change your selection within the week.

When completing activities you gain reputation simultaneously with the shared "Cartels of Undermine" faction and with the cartel selected for that week.

To purchase the Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk2 you need to reach Exalted with the Blackwater Cartel. You must regularly choose Blackwater as your weekly cartel.

Weekly Quests (Primary Source)

Three weekly quests award 1,000 reputation each (3,000 total per week):

• "Plenty of Work — We'll Sort It Out!" — complete 10 tasks related to G-99
• "Markup Thirst" — participate in the "Price Spike" event
• "Reduce, Recycle, Resell" — a salvage and trade quest

World Quests

World quests in Undermine award 50 reputation for standard quests and up to 200 for special assignments. Quests refresh regularly and when Blackwater is your weekly cartel they all grant reputation with that faction.

• Story quests — one-time bonus of 2,500 reputation per campaign chapter and 100–200 per side quest
• Rare enemies — killing rare mobs in Undermine awards 20–100 reputation per day depending on rarity
• S.C.R.A.P. excavations — a mini-game collecting salvage scattered around the zone, rewarding reputation
• Junk pile sorting — an additional source of small amounts of reputation
• Side gigs — short tasks awarding 50 reputation each

Resonance Crystals are the universal currency for purchasing rewards from all cartel quartermasters in Undermine. You need 8,125 crystals to buy the mount.

Stockpiling Tips

• Do not spend Resonance Crystals on cosmetic items and toys if your goal is the mount. Set your priorities
• Complete all available weekly and world quests — they are the primary crystal source
• Check the Undermine map for rare enemies — they provide additional crystals when killed

Undermine is a subterranean goblin metropolis added in Patch 11.1 of The War Within.

First Visit

1. Complete the introductory story chain of Patch 11.1 that opens access to Undermine
2. Follow the quest line — you will be taken to the city automatically
3. Unlock flight paths and portals for future visits

Quick Access (after unlocking)

After completing the introductory chain a permanent portal to Undermine appears in Dornogal. Use it for fast travel.

Vendor Coordinates

Bosun Bruiseknuckle is located in the Port Authority building in the northeast of Undermine, in the Blackwater docks area, east of the Demolition Dome.

Weekly Plan

1. At the start of each week make sure Blackwater Cartel is selected via Kaidy Rocketgroups
2. Complete the three weekly quests — this gives 3,000 reputation
3. Complete all available world quests in Undermine
4. Kill rare enemies every time you visit the zone
5. Do S.C.R.A.P. excavations for additional reputation and crystals
6. Don't forget the side gigs

How Long Will It Take

Time to obtaining the mount depends on two factors: reputation gain speed and crystals accumulated. Since you can only choose the Blackwater Cartel for a full week, and other weeks you may need to build reputation with other cartels, reaching Exalted can take several weeks of active play. Plan for at least 4–6 weeks to reach Exalted if you alternate cartels.

If you focus exclusively on Blackwater and choose it every week, the timeline shrinks to 3–4 weeks.
