Get Blightreaper
Overview

Blightreaper is a two-handed staff added to World of Warcraft in the Battle for Azeroth expansion. Its model is built around a crowning scythe-shaped head with bone and decay motifs, evoking the theme of corruption and the Drust magic that has seeped into Waycrest Manor.
This is a blue-quality weapon with item level 19 in its standard version. The appearance suits any class that uses staves: druids, priests, mages, warlocks, monks, shamans and evokers. Its dark, gloomy palette makes it a great pick for necromantic and "blighted" looks.
Source
The staff drops in the Waycrest Manor dungeon — a 5-player instance from the Battle for Azeroth expansion, located in the Drustvar zone on Kul Tiras.
- It drops from the dungeon's final boss — Gorak Tul, Lord of the Blighted World.
- The drop chance is around 1.44%, so it usually takes several runs.
- It is available on any dungeon difficulty: Normal, Heroic and Mythic.
- There is no limit on attempts — you can rerun the dungeon as many times as you need.
Gorak Tul is found in the far part of the manor, in the chambers of Lord and Lady Waycrest, at coordinates of roughly 57.4, 25.4 inside the instance.
Visual Appeal
- Ideal for necromantic and "plague" looks — the scythe head and decaying palette support the theme of death and rot.
- Pairs well with dark cloth and leather sets in black-green and bone tones.
- Suits witchy and Drust-inspired concepts thematically tied to Waycrest Manor itself and the Heartsbane Coven.
- Contrasts with bright "priestly" sets — a debatable but striking choice for "fallen servant" looks.
Tips
For fast farming, set the dungeon to Normal difficulty through the dungeon finder — Gorak Tul dies in a minute, and entry requires no key.
The drop chance is low, so plan a series of runs; you can reset the instance and re-enter each time.
Waycrest Manor is in Drustvar — an Alliance zone, but Horde players can easily get inside through the dungeon finder.
Pick a class with high mobility and area damage so you can run to Gorak Tul without getting bogged down by extra mobs.
The appearance counts toward your account-wide appearance collection, so you only need to get the staff once on any character.
If you are farming for looks, check the manor's other bosses along the way — they drop thematic appearances from the same dungeon set.
