12.1.5 continues the second season. The new raid and Labyrinth expand the activities and reward sources available, while seasonal upgrades help you prepare for more difficult keys.

Story Campaign Continues

After Ul'atek is defeated, the bonds holding Kithix weaken. The ancient enemy of the Amani becomes a new threat to Quel'Thalas and Zul'Aman. The story continues with a united effort against him and a battle alongside Lady Liadrin.

The new campaign begins with a quest from Lor'themar Theron in Silvermoon. Completing the first chapter unlocks participation in aqir invasions.

New Raid: The Unbinding of Kithix

The raid is designed for characters at level 90 and features one boss: Kithix. Story Mode, Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties are available. Mythic's special feature is a flexible group size of 15 to 25 players.

Learn more about the new raid in our article.

Labyrinth of Kindojan

The Labyrinth of Kindojan is a large Delve consisting of nine halls that you can explore with Valira Sanguinar. Inside, you will find combat challenges, traps, puzzles, secret rooms, and chests. You can choose the route between the halls.

Aqir Invasions

The new event takes place in Eversong Woods and Zul'Aman. The active zone changes each week; the location and countdown to the start are shown by the scarab icon on the map.

  1. Event objectives appear at the start of every hour.
  2. For 10 minutes, players complete as many objectives as possible.
  3. A group boss appears afterward. Players have another five minutes to defeat it.

There are six types of scenarios in total: three combat scenarios and three non-combat scenarios. The combat variants have eight additional modifiers:

  • An enemy appears and shields the other aqir with a barrier.
  • Underground attacks launch nearby players into the air.
  • Moving Void orbs that must be avoided.
  • Crystal explosions that are dangerous to both aqir and players.
  • Numerous small aqir replace the usual enemies.
  • A smaller number of empowered enemies replace the usual enemies.
  • Infected aqir explode and spread the infection to other creatures.
  • Web-spinning enemies appear, and their casts must be interrupted.

Invasion Rewards

Your first boss kill each week rewards an Game iconAqirologist's Satchel containing a piece of gear, Crests, and other resources. Repeat events are useful for reputation and purchasing collectible rewards.

You need 5,000 points to reach the new reputation's maximum rank: completing an invasion objective grants 35, defeating the boss grants 100, and flying through a flying aqir to destroy it grants one. At the maximum rank, you can purchase the Game iconFallen Swarmite for 2,500 Gloomstone Mergel. Pets, toys, decor, and reputation assistance for other Midnight factions are also available.

Gear Upgrades in the Second Half of the Season
