Bone Warden's Splitter is an epic-quality one-handed axe hailing from Wrath of the Lich King. The model is built entirely around the Scourge's bone theme: a broad blade resembles a curved rib, while fragments of skulls and vertebrae are fastened to the haft, as if the weapon were assembled from remains. Its pale-grey palette with cold bluish glints makes it instantly recognizable as an Icecrown Citadel item.

The axe is a great fit for classes that wield a one-handed weapon in melee. Its item level and stats are irrelevant nowadays — the axe has long been valued purely for its looks. It is one of the most thematic "bone" appearances for builds in the spirit of the undead, death knights, and dark warriors.

The axe drops from Lord Marrowgar — the first boss of the Icecrown Citadel raid in Icecrown (Northrend).
