Bow of the Great Dark is a rare-quality two-handed ranged weapon introduced in the Midnight expansion. The bow takes the ranged slot and suits hunters as the only class that wields this type of weapon.

The model is done in a dark color scheme with cold purple-black tones, nodding to the theme of the Great Dark beyond Azeroth. The silhouette is compact, with carved bow limbs and a drawn string without any visible magical glow, giving it a stern, restrained look.

The item level is 237 and the required character level is 90. In terms of power this is early-season Midnight gear, but for transmog what matters is its model, not its stats.

The bow drops in Midnight Season 1 dungeons and belongs to the Adventurer upgrade track. That explains the item level cap of 6/6 at 237 — this track does not upgrade beyond that.
