Bristleblitz Striker is a two-handed bow of epic quality that originates from The Burning Crusade expansion. It is a ranged weapon with a model shaped like a curved stave wreathed in spikes; its distinctive silhouette and dark coloring make it a recognizable choice for hunter outfits.

The bow has long been outdated in terms of stats — its item level is low, and it becomes soulbound when acquired. Today it is sought after purely for its appearance: the model remains one of the most striking "classic" bow models, and transmog collectors deliberately farm it.

The bow drops from Archimonde — the final, fifth boss of the Hyjal Summit raid. The raid is located in the Caverns of Time dungeon in Tanaris.

• The drop chance from Archimonde is around 18.6%, which is fairly generous for a rare weapon.
• This is a weapon for specializations that use agility — first and foremost for hunters.
• To reach Archimonde, you need to clear the entire raid: first fend off the waves of undead and kill Rage Winterchill, Anetheron, Kaz'rogal, and Azgalor, and only then does the fight with Archimonde open up.
• The attunement requirement to enter was removed long ago — a separate quest chain is no longer needed, and you can enter directly.
• At level 90 the raid can be soloed without any particular difficulty: the bosses' mechanics are barely noticeable at max level.

Each of the four "wave" stages before Archimonde takes time to clear the advancing groups of demons and undead, so a single full clear for the bow takes noticeably longer than the usual solo farm of a single boss.

• It fits hunter outfits with a dark, "wild" aesthetic — it harmonizes with leather and mail sets in a brown-and-black palette.
• It pairs well with sets from The Burning Crusade — for example, with hunter armor models from the same era.
• It contrasts with light, "natural" feral druid sets in leather armor — a debatable but expressive approach.
• It complements outfits with a theme of spikes, bones, and predators — thanks to the distinctive spiked shape of the stave.
