Get Brutal Gladiator's Longbow
Overview

Brutal Gladiator's Longbow is an epic bow from the PvP set of the 4th Arena season of The Burning Crusade expansion. It is a large combat model with massive bow limbs and the distinctive aggressive silhouette of the Gladiator series, recognizable by its dark metal and sharp angular shapes.
Originally this was a rated PvP weapon for hunters, but in the modern game the item's stats (item level 44, level 30 requirement) are irrelevant — the bow is interesting purely as a transmogrification appearance. It is the final, meanest version of the Gladiator bow from The Burning Crusade era.
Source
The bow belongs to the gear of the 4th Arena season of The Burning Crusade — the last PvP season of that expansion. Back in the day it was purchased from an Arena vendor for Arena points, and the purchase required a certain personal and team Arena rating.
- This is a rated PvP reward: without the required Arena rating, the bow could not be acquired.
- The Season 4 gear vendors were located in the Arena zones of Outland.
- The item binds to the character on pickup.
An important point for collectors: the Gladiator weapons of older Arena seasons were removed from sale along with the transition to new seasons, and the Season 4 vendors have long been removed from the game. As of today this bow is effectively unobtainable through normal means — it remains a goal mainly for those who unlocked its appearance back when the set was current. Before hunting for it, make sure you really do not have its appearance unlocked, so you do not waste your time.
Who It Suits Visually
- Complements aggressive hunter PvP looks in a dark red-and-steel palette.
- Pairs well with the Gladiator armor sets of The Burning Crusade in the same color line.
- Suits classes that use a bow — the hunter first and foremost.
- Contrasts with light, nature-themed leather armor as a deliberately martial, "arena-tournament" accent.
Tips
First check the appearances tab: if the bow is already learned on the account, there is no need to look for it again.
Keep in mind that the classic way of buying it from an Arena vendor has long been unavailable — you should not count on legitimately farming this particular season.
If it is the silhouette that matters to you and not the season, take a look at the Gladiator bows of other The Burning Crusade seasons — the model is the same.
Compare the colors of the variants directly in the in-game appearance catalog to find the shade that matches your set.
For a cohesive PvP look, combine the bow with the Gladiator armor of the same season.
An unlocked appearance is available to all eligible characters on the account without needing to obtain it again.
