Transition from Classic to The Burning Crusade

On February 6, the Anniversary game servers moved to the next stage of development, giving players the chance to relive the events of the The Burning Crusade expansion. The Dark Portal has been reopened, and Outland awaits heroes ready to face new adventures and dangers!

What changes have taken effect?

The developers promise not to introduce any changes that would significantly affect the gameplay, so events will unfold just as they did during the original launch of this expansion many years ago.

Players now have access to two new races, along with all associated storyline locations:

  • Draenei for the Alliance

  • Blood Elves for the Horde

Additionally, players can look forward to:

  • A new profession: Jewelcrafting
  • Level up all professions from 300 to 375
  • A new feature: Guild Banks
  • Outland locations
  • Character level cap increased to 70
  • Flying mounts and flight training

What’s coming next?

On February 18, players will gain access to:

  • Season 1 of the PvP Arena, including all achievements, gear, and rewards
  • New arenas for combat: The Ring of Trials, The Blood Ring, and The Ruins of Lordaeron

On February 20, the first three raids of the expansion will open for exploration:

  • Karazhan
  • Gruul’s Lair
  • Magtheridon’s Lair

The developers will provide further updates on subsequent content phases.
