Overview

Высший каратель

Game iconCapital Punisher is an epic two-handed bludgeoning mace added to World of Warcraft with The War Within expansion (patch 11.1, Season 2). It is a massive goblin-style industrial war maul: a rusty steel head bristling with spikes, wrapped in technical parts and tubing, as if it rolled straight off the assembly lines of Undermine. The model perfectly captures the grimy industrial aesthetic of Gallywix's cartel.

The mace is intended for Strength-based melee fighters: Arms and Fury Warriors, Death Knights, and Retribution Paladins. The weapon drops in the Liberation of Undermine raid from the final boss.

Source

Capital Punisher drops from Chrome King Gallywix, the eighth and final boss of the Liberation of Undermine raid.

  • The raid is part of The War Within Season 2 content, patch 11.1.
  • The mace drops on all difficulties: Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic. The item level scales with difficulty.
  • The drop chance from the boss is around 25%, making the mace one of the more accessible items in Gallywix's loot table.
  • You can obtain it both in a group and via a solo run on old difficulty once the raid becomes outdated with the next season's release.
  • The weekly Great Vault cache grants an additional chance at the item if you killed the final boss that week.

The raid entrance is located within the city of Undermine itself, near the cartel hotel. The easiest way to get there is through the portal in your faction's capital or via the group finder interface.

Who It Suits Visually

  • It harmonizes with the industrial goblin sets of Gallywix's cartel from the Liberation of Undermine raid.
  • It pairs well with dark steel and rusty-orange armor — warm metallic tones emphasize the tubing and spikes of the head.
  • It contrasts strikingly with clean "knightly" plate — a debatable but memorable choice for those who love a high-tech look.
  • It fits concepts of mechanics, engineers, and cartel mercenaries — especially for goblin and orc characters.

Tips

1

The optimal approach is to farm the mace during the weekly run on the final boss: one guaranteed chance from the kill plus a chance from the Great Vault.

2

On a Retribution Paladin and a Warrior it is easiest to keep the raid on farm thanks to high survivability and damage.

3

Once the raid becomes outdated with the next season's release, you will be able to clear it solo at current level — the final boss will no longer require a full group.

4

The difficulty level only affects the item's stats: the transmog appearance is identical across all modes, so for the look alone Raid Finder is enough.

5

Don't forget that to unlock the appearance you need to obtain the item in your inventory once — after that it is added to your account's appearance collection.

6

Alongside the mace, epic mounts and other raid items also drop from this same boss, so a run is rarely a waste.
