Get Charged Crusher
Overview

Charged Crusher is an epic-quality two-handed mace from the The War Within expansion. It is a massive crushing weapon in the industrial, mechanical style of the Earthen: a heavy head with faceted metal plates and smoldering veins of energy that echo the architecture of the underground workshops of Khaz Algar.
Unlike purely cosmetic appearances, this is a fully functional item-level 593 weapon with Strength or Agility stats — meaning you can not only use it as a transmog, but also wield it in combat on your way to max level. The mace suits specializations that use two-handed crushing weapons: Warriors, Paladins, and Death Knights.
Source
The appearance is obtained through crafting via a profession. The finished weapon is created from the plans
Plans: Charged Crusher, which require the Khaz Algar Blacksmithing profession (skill 35).
The plans themselves drop from the "Awakening the Machine" activity in Khaz Algar — a group event of the Earthen where you earn progress and rewards, including blacksmithing plans, for clearing waves of enemies. Once the plans are learned, the recipe
Charged Crusher becomes available in the blacksmith's book.
The following reagents are needed to craft the weapon:
Null Stone — 2
Charged Alloy — 10
Sanctified Alloy — 6
Storm-Touched Weapon Wrap — 1- Spark of Omens — 2
The finished item is Bind on Pickup, so you should craft it on the character you plan to wear the appearance on, or order it from another blacksmith through the crafting order system.
Visual Compatibility
- Harmonizes with plate sets in steel and bronze tones with energy accents — looks in the spirit of the Earthen and the machinery of Khaz Algar.
- Suits the dark-gray, industrial armor of The War Within, where the theme of metal and ore matters.
- Contrasts with the bright, holy sets of the Paladin — a debatable but striking combination of a grim weapon and radiant armor.
- Completes the "smith-warrior" look for Warriors and Death Knights who use two-handed crushing weapons.
Tips
Level up Khaz Algar Blacksmithing in advance — without the required skill level, you won't be able to learn and use the plans.
The plans drop from the "Awakening the Machine" event, so participate in it regularly for a chance at the recipe you need.
The "Charged Alloy" and "Sanctified Alloy" reagents are blacksmithing bars; it's more efficient to prepare them ahead of time or buy them from the auction house before assembly.
Sparks of Omens are a limited blacksmithing resource — spend them wisely, as they are also needed for other crafts.
Since the weapon is Bind on Pickup, order the craft through the crafting order system if you don't have your own blacksmith.
The appearance unlocks in your transmogrification collection after you obtain the item — you don't have to wear it permanently, it's enough to add it to your wardrobe once.
