Get Charged Halberd

Charged Halberd is an epic polearm added to World of Warcraft in The War Within expansion. It is a massive two-handed halberd: a long metal shaft crowned with a wide axe-blade laced with energy veins along which electric charges ripple. The cold blue-steel palette and glowing inlays give the weapon a "high-tech" feel — it clearly nods to the smithing theme of Khaz Algar with its charges and alloys.

This is a two-handed weapon with a speed of 3.60. Polearms are used by warriors, paladins, death knights, druids, monks and hunters, so the halberd's appearance will come in handy for a wide range of melee characters.

Charged Halberd is a crafted weapon. It is forged by master blacksmiths using the recipe Plans: Charged Halberd as part of Khaz Algar Blacksmithing.

• The recipe unlocks automatically after investing 15 points into the polearm and axe specialization (the weaponsmith branch, the slashing and polearm weapons node). There is no need to buy the plans separately — they become available as you level up the specialization.
• The key reagent is Charged Alloy, which the blacksmith smelts themselves from Khaz Algar materials. In addition to it, the epic weapon requires high-level expansion reagents.
• You can craft the weapon for yourself or set it up as a crafting order: if you do not have Blacksmithing, any player with a leveled weaponsmithing specialization can make the halberd.
• The final quality tier depends on the crafter's specialization level and concentration spent. For transmog this does not matter — the appearance is the same across all tiers.

To unlock the appearance, it is enough to obtain the halberd in your inventory once and apply transmogrification to it.

• It pairs well with armor sets featuring blue and steel energy accents — especially The War Within sets themed around machinery and charges.
• It harmonizes with death knight and warrior looks in a cold blue-gray palette.
• It looks great with Khaz Algar plate sets — a unified "smithing" style of material and weapon.
• It contrasts with warm gold and red armor: the halberd becomes a cold accent, but the combination is debatable.
