Charming Courier

Charming Courier is a Battle.net Shop mount shaped like an owl with an icy blue color scheme. This mount blends the features of an owl and a dragon: scales, spikes, horns, and slit pupils — all hallmarks of the creatures of the Dragon Isles. The mount was added in patch 10.2.7 and was originally offered as a bonus for signing up for a 6-month World of Warcraft subscription.

The mount's description references the unofficial motto of the United States Postal Service (USPS), which adds an extra bit of charm.

The Charming Courier is a mount from the Battle.net Shop. It can be obtained in two ways:

Method 1: Purchase from the Battle.net Shop

The mount is available for purchase in the Battle.net Shop for $25 / €25.

Method 2: Subscription Bonus (Limited Time)

The mount was also offered for free as part of promotions:

Players who already had an active 6-month or 12-month subscription with a future renewal date received the mount automatically no later than July 23, 2024.

Important: the subscription promotion has ended. At this point, the only way to get the Charming Courier is to purchase it from the Battle.net Shop.

• Character level: 10 and above
• Riding skill: Apprentice Riding (for ground travel) or Expert Riding (for flying)
• Active World of Warcraft account
• The mount is unavailable on WoW Classic realms

1. Open the Battle.net app or go to the Battle.net Shop website
2. Find the Charming Courier mount in the World of Warcraft mounts section
3. Click "Buy" and complete the payment ($25 / €25)
4. After purchase, the mount will automatically appear in your in-game Mount Journal
5. Open the Mount Journal (Shift+P by default), find the Charming Courier, and click "Summon"

The mount will appear on all of your characters, including future ones. You may need to log back in for the purchase to show up.

Movement Speed

The mount automatically adapts to your current riding skill:

Skyriding

The Charming Courier fully supports the Skyriding system introduced in Dragonflight and expanded in The War Within. You can:

• Use all dynamic flight maneuvers (diving, climbing, updrafts)
• Switch between steady and dynamic flight

Note: The Charming Courier cannot take part in Skyriding races — upon entering a race zone, you will automatically be switched to a standard racing mount.

• Wait for a discount. Shop mounts occasionally go on sale during Battle.net promotions. If you're not in a hurry, you can wait for a sale and save some money.
• Gift to a friend. The mount can be purchased as a gift for another player through the Battle.net Shop — a great option for a surprise.
• Check your subscription. If you signed up for a 6-month or 12-month subscription during the promotional period (before January 2025), check your Mount Journal — the mount may have been granted automatically.
• In-game shop. You can also buy the mount without leaving the game, through the in-game shop (the "Shop" button in the main menu).
• Owlet. If you received the mount through a 6-month subscription, don't forget to check for the Owlet pet on your WoW Classic characters — it should be in your battle pet collection.
