Circuit Breaker is a two-handed sword added to World of Warcraft in The War Within expansion alongside the Operation: Floodgate dungeon in patch 11.1. The weapon is steeped in the goblin-industrial aesthetic of the Undermine: a massive serrated blade, metal casing plates and purple electrical discharges crackling along the edge. It looks more like an industrial power tool under live current than a classic melee weapon.

This weapon suits specializations that wield two-handed swords: Warriors, Death Knights and Paladins. The purple glow and short-circuit theme make the sword a great pick for "mechanical" and techno-magical looks.

The sword drops from the final boss Geezle Gigazap in the Operation: Floodgate dungeon. The dungeon is located in the Undermine and becomes available through the random and Mythic dungeon systems once you unlock the zone in the patch 11.1 campaign.

• The source is the dungeon's final boss, the goblin electrician Geezle Gigazap, so a single run guarantees you reach the drop point.
• The sword drops on Normal, Heroic and Mythic difficulties, as well as in Mythic+. The appearance is identical on all difficulty levels; only the item level differs.
• The drop chance is high for a dungeon weapon — around one in three from the kill, so a few attempts are usually enough.
• There is no cap on the number of runs: the dungeon can be cleared daily, and in Mythic+ in every applicable key.

To learn the appearance, you only need to obtain the sword once on a character who can wield two-handed swords.
