How to Get the Cozy Sleeping Bag in WoW Forever
Overview
The Cozy Sleeping Bag is a reusable item that you can lay out almost anywhere to gain a bonus to experience earned. To get it, complete a six-quest chain. A character can start it at level 14.
The Alliance and Horde begin at different locations, but their routes converge afterward.
How Does the Sleeping Bag Work?
Use the bag and remain lying in it. For every minute spent resting, your character gains 1% increased experience, up to 3% after three minutes. The bonus lasts one hour, and the item also recharges over one hour. While resting in the bag, your character also gains the Rested state as if they were in an inn. The bonus to Rested experience accumulation works while using the bag as well.
The quest chain rewards include five pieces of
Poultry Feed and a 12-slot bag. In Forever, Poultry Feed does not grant rested experience as it did in Season of Discovery. It instantly restores health and some class resource, and briefly increases movement speed.
Quest Chain
Alliance Route
1. Westfall, Alexston Farmstead

Search the charred remains among the wagon wreckage and accept “...And That Note You Found”.
2. The Barrens, south of Camp Taurajo

Find the charred remains by the burnt tower. Advance the first quest and pick up “Stonetalon Steps”.
3. Stonetalon Mountains, camp northeast of Sun Rock Retreat

Follow the path up to the abandoned camp. Find the pocket lint on a crate to complete “Stonetalon Steps” and start “On the Alert”.
4. Stonetalon Mountains, dirt pile on the ledge

From the camp, head north, climb the slope, and drop down onto the ledge with the pile of dirt. Interact with it to complete “On the Alert” and start “Wet Work”.
5. Loch Modan, the dam

Drop down to the ledge and reach the carved figurine on the stone heads facing Wetlands. This completes “Wet Work” and unlocks “Eagle Fist”.
6. Hillsbrad Foothills, the Hillsbrad side of Thoradin’s Wall

Climb onto the wall using the fallen wagon. Cross that section of the wall and find the hanging messenger bag. Interact with it to complete “Eagle Fist” and start “It Must Be Here”. Then pick up the quickly wrapped package lying beneath it. This completes the chain and rewards the Cozy Sleeping Bag.
Horde Route
The Horde visits the first two locations in reverse order:
1. The Barrens, south of Camp Taurajo

Find the charred remains and accept “...And That Note You Found”.
2. Westfall, Alexston Farmstead

Search the nail board by the wagon wreckage to advance the first quest and continue to “Stonetalon Steps”.
After that, follow the shared route through Stonetalon Mountains, Loch Modan, and Thoradin’s Wall. Reaching Loch Modan as a Horde character can be difficult, so plan a safe route there in advance.
Additional Rewards
Completing “Stonetalon Steps” rewards a 12-slot bag and items for an optional campfire quest. This quest takes place at the camp in Stonetalon Mountains and requires Simple Wood and a Flint and Tinder. It is not required to obtain the sleeping bag.
The chain awards five pieces of Poultry Feed across its stages. The final reward bag is beneath the messenger bag by Thoradin’s Wall.
Helpful Tips
The trickiest parts of the route are the jump to the dirt pile in Stonetalon Mountains, the descent to the figurine at the dam, and the climb onto Thoradin’s Wall. Move carefully and check your coordinates.
Quest items are hidden in the environment; you need to find and interact with them yourself.
