Crimson Lupine

Crimson Lupine is an epic ground and flying mount added in patch 11.2.7 of The War Within expansion. It is a lupine with crimson coloring — one of the creations of the Firstborn from Zereth Mortis. According to the item description, lupines with the crimson form are considered the most powerful among all lupines.

The mount is purchased from Collector Ta'steld in Oribos for 5,000 Timewarped Badges during the "Timewalking: Shadowlands" event.

• Guaranteed acquisition — the Crimson Lupine is bought from a vendor for a fixed currency. No random drop — save up the badges and buy the mount.
• Ground and flying — the mount works both on the ground and in the air. On the ground it grants +60% or +100% speed (depending on your riding skill), and in flight up to +310%.
• Unique model — lupines from Zereth Mortis have a recognizable appearance, and the crimson variant stands out with its bright, saturated color among other lupines.
• Available to all characters — once purchased, the mount is account-bound and becomes available on all your characters.
• No reputation required — unlike many mounts, no reputation is needed for the purchase, only the event currency.

Collector Ta'steld is located in Oribos, in the Ring of Fates, near the Hall of Curiosities. She is available only during the active "Timewalking: Shadowlands" event.

How to Get to Oribos

1. Use the portal to Oribos from your faction's capital (Stormwind or Orgrimmar)
2. If you previously completed the Shadowlands campaign, use a Hearthstone set to Oribos
3. In Oribos, go to the Ring of Fates (the central floor)

Vendor Coordinates

1. Wait for the event — make sure the "Timewalking: Shadowlands" event is active during the current week. You can check the schedule in the in-game calendar.
2. Save up 5,000 Timewarped Badges — read more about currency sources in the section below.
3. Head to Oribos — use the portal from your faction's capital.
4. Find Collector Ta'steld — she stands in the Ring of Fates at coordinates 56.24, 64.13.
5. Buy the mount — open the trade window and purchase the Crimson Lupine for 5,000 badges.
6. Use the item — right-click the item in your bag to learn the mount.

Timewarped Badges are a currency that can be earned during any "Timewalking" events, not just Shadowlands. Badges carry over between events, so you can stockpile them in advance.

During Shadowlands Timewalking, six dungeons are available:

Optimal Farming Strategy

1. Complete the weekly quest — when you enter your first Timewalking dungeon, you will receive a quest item. Turn it in upon completing the dungeon and receive 500 badges.
2. Run dungeons via the random group finder — this grants an additional 10 badges for each completed dungeon.
3. Repeat on multiple characters — the 500-badge weekly quest is available to every character. The currency is shared across the account.
4. Stockpile between events — Timewarped Badges can be earned during the Timewalking of any expansion (Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Shadowlands).

How Many Dungeons You Will Need

If you have 0 badges, here is a rough calculation for a single character over one week:

• Weekly quest: 500 badges.
• One dungeon (4 regular bosses + 1 final + random bonus): 40 badges.
• For 5,000 badges while farming on a single character, you will need to complete the weekly quest and run approximately 112 dungeons.

It is significantly faster to stockpile across multiple characters or over several events.
