Cruel Dreamcarver — Transmog Set Guide

Cruel Dreamcarver is a one-handed dagger of epic quality, added to World of Warcraft alongside the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid from the Dragonflight expansion. It is a short blade with the natural theme of the Emerald Dream: the blade looks as if it were carved from living wood fiber with warm resin-amber highlights, while the guard is wrapped in slender shoots. The appearance is kept in a green-and-gold palette without a bright magical glow and reads well even on dark sets.

The dagger belongs to the weapon set of the Amirdrassil raid, and in this exact version it drops only from Mythic difficulty.

Additionally, the item has an active effect, Dream Eater: it carves off and absorbs a fragment of the target's dreams, granting a bonus depending on the type of creature. At the current Midnight level the effect no longer matters in combat, but it remains a fun detail of the appearance.

Cruel Dreamcarver has four color variants of the silhouette. From the boss itself only one named version drops each season — the Mythic one. The other colors are presented as separate decorative "Dream Raider" items that add the illusion to the group's collection.
