Get Cultist's Pillaged Glaive
Overview

Cultist's Pillaged Glaive is a rare-quality one-handed dual blade added in the Midnight expansion. It is a curved glaive of elven craftsmanship with a distinctive Quel'Thalas silhouette: a narrow, sickle-shaped blade and a slender shaft in a cool blue-steel palette. The look is clean and stylish, easily recognizable among weapons of this type.
Dual blades are available as a transmog appearance to warriors, rogues, demon hunters, and evokers — that is, the classes that can wield this weapon type. The glaive is a one-hand weapon: you can equip it in either the main hand or the off hand, and demon hunters wield a pair of blades in both hands at once, which makes the look especially striking for them.
Source
Cultist's Pillaged Glaive is granted as a reward for completing the quest The Traitors of Tranquillien.
- The quest belongs to the Tranquillien storyline in the lands of Quel'Thalas (Midnight content).
- The goal of the quest is to kill three enemies: Ranger Lethvalin, Sister Narsilla, and Captain of the Guard Leonid.
- The glaive is part of a choice of rewards, so when you turn in the quest you need to select it specifically.
- The reward is granted once per character — you cannot redo the choice after turning the quest in.
- The finished glaive is bound on equip.
This is an ordinary ground quest from the story campaign, with no group requirements. You just need to reach the relevant step of the chain, meet the conditions, and choose the glaive rather than the alternative item when you receive your reward.
Who It Suits Visually
- It harmonizes with Quel'Thalas and high elf-themed looks — sets in blue-and-gold and silver tones.
- It looks especially striking on demon hunters who wield a pair of identical blades in both hands at once.
- It contrasts with dark and demonic armor, adding an elegant elven accent.
- It suits rogues and warriors who want a graceful one-handed blade instead of a massive weapon.
Tips
The glaive is a quest reward, so the appearance is guaranteed: you just need to complete the chain and choose the right item, with no dependence on a random drop.
When turning in the quest, carefully select the glaive itself from the reward list — the other options may not suit your class by weapon type.
The quest is completed once per character, so if you want the appearance on several heroes, run the chain on each of them.
To unlock the appearance it is enough to obtain the item: after that it will be added to your account-wide appearance collection.
Since dual blades are worn by several classes, the appearance will come in handy for several characters on your account.
Keep the item until the appearance is definitely learned: once learned, you can safely sell the copy.
