Get Cyan Glowmite mount

Cyan Glowmite is an epic flying insect mount added to World of Warcraft in patch 11.0.2 of the The War Within expansion. It is a large glowbug with translucent wings and a soft cyan glow, bred by the kobolds in The Ringing Deeps.

The mount is sold for the reputation currency Resonance Crystals by Waxmonger Squick in the settlement of Gundargaz and requires Renown rank 23 with the Assembly of the Deeps faction. It is one of two mounts offered by this faction; the other is the ground mount Crimson Mudnose, available from Renown rank 19.

Obtaining the mount comes down to three parallel tasks: unlock the faction, raise Renown to rank 23, and accumulate 11,375 Resonance Crystals.

1. Complete the The War Within introductory quests and reach the The Ringing Deeps zone. This unlocks the Assembly of the Deeps faction
2. Pick up the quest Orientation: Gundargaz to get acquainted with the kobold settlement and the local vendors
3. Build reputation through local quests, world quests, the "Awakening the Machine" events, killing rare mobs and story chains. Each Renown rank requires 2,500 reputation
4. Alongside this, gather Resonance Crystals — they are awarded for quests across Khaz Algar, delves, world events and for raising Renown ranks
5. Once you reach Renown rank 23, head to Waxmonger Squick in Gundargaz and buy the Cyan Glowmite for 11,375 crystals

Renown with the faction has 25 ranks, each requiring 2,500 reputation. The Cyan Glowmite unlocks at rank 23, so plan your routes to gain reputation steadily.

• Local quests and world quests in The Ringing Deeps
• Emerald Awakening quests and campaign story chains
• Killing the zone's rare mobs (reputation and a chance at transmog)
• The weekly Awakening the Machine event — a major source of reputation and resonance crystals
• Turning in Odd Glob of Wax for the weekly quest
• The "Sniffenseeking" activity — unlocks at Renown rank 2 and yields reputation along with items

You will need 11,375 Resonance Crystals — this is a currency for all of Khaz Algar, so you can accumulate it in parallel with leveling any other The War Within faction.

1. Earning Renown with three factions — the Council of Dornogal, the Assembly of the Deeps and the Hallowfall Arathi each grant 100–500 crystals per rank
2. Sniffenseeking — collect Disturbed Earth across Khaz Algar with your sniffer pet and turn in your finds for crystals
3. Flying through glowing orbs — small spheres floating in the air give 1 crystal for each touch while flying
4. Delves — weekly chests and delve completion rewards contain crystals
5. Seasonal world events — events such as Awakening the Machine and the Theater of Dreams

An Efficient Daily Route

• Run the "Awakening the Machine" quests if the event is active — a large one-time boost of reputation and crystals
• Complete all world quests in The Ringing Deeps
• Sweep through all of the zone's known rare mobs
• Use your sniffer pet across the three main zones (Isle of Dorn, Hallowfall, The Ringing Deeps) to collect Disturbed Earth
• Complete 1–2 tier 8 delves for the weekly chest
