"Dark Iron's Ancient Crusher" is a two-handed mace from the Dark Iron dwarf weapon set, added in patch 11.2.0 alongside the revamped Brewfest. It is a massive crushing weapon with a heavy, angular head of dark metal and smoldering veins of magma, finished in the Dark Iron clan's signature palette of red-hot iron and basalt.

Formally the item is level 1 with zero stats — it is a purely cosmetic piece. On first equip, the appearance is added to the transmogrification collection of your entire warband, after which you no longer need to keep the mace itself. Thanks to its rough forged aesthetic, the look fits "heavy" concepts for warriors, paladins, and dwarf brewmasters well.

The appearance drops from the epic version of the item Bag of Brewfest Merchandise — a reward for completing the "Brewfest Bash" scenario. The scenario launches every hour on the hour during Brewfest, a seasonal celebration that usually runs for two weeks from late September into early October.

For your result in the bash you receive a bag of one of three quality tiers:

• For 2,500 points — an uncommon bag with festive food and a chance at Brewfest Prize Tokens.
• For 5,000 points — a rare bag with a chance at pieces of the basic and blue brewmaster sets.
• For 7,500 points — an epic bag, which is exactly the one that may contain one of the five bind-on-use weapons and the cloak from the Dark Iron collection, including "Dark Iron's Ancient Crusher".

To count on the epic bag, you need to score the maximum result in the bash. All five items of the set bind only when equipped, so the appearance can be bought from other players on the auction house if you have no luck with your own bags.
