Get Dauntless Imperial Lynx mount

Dauntless Imperial Lynx is an epic ground mount added in patch 11.0.0 of The War Within expansion. It is a graceful battle lynx clad in battered armor with a single surviving "Dauntless" patch. The mount drops from the Lamplighter Supply Satchel, which you receive for taking part in the Spreading the Light world event in the Hallowfall zone.

The drop chance is roughly 0.6% (about 1 in 165 according to community data); however, over the course of a week you can open many satchels across several characters, which noticeably improves your odds.

• Unique model — the Dauntless Imperial Lynx belongs to the Hallowfall imperial lynx family. Its battered armor and battle-worn look set it apart from its more ornate kin
• Free to obtain — the mount is acquired purely through in-game activity. You won't have to spend gold or real money
• Multi-character farming — the event is available to any level 80 character, and the mount is account-bound. The more characters you have, the better your chances
• Pairs with other content — during the event you also earn resonance crystals, reputation with the Hallowfall Arathi faction, and gear from radiant caches
• Companion included — the lynx has a companion pet, Argos, which can also be obtained in Hallowfall

• Level 90 character
• Completed The War Within main campaign (for access to Hallowfall world events)
• Riding skill (at least "Apprentice Riding")

The Spreading the Light event takes place in the northeastern part of Hallowfall, in the Lightbloom area. You can get there as follows:

1. Use a flight point to Lightbloom or the nearest hub in Hallowfall
2. Head toward the central area marked on the map with golden markers

Step 1: Reach the Lightbloom Area

Fly into Hallowfall and head to the northeastern part of the zone. The event area is located around the Hillhelm Family farmstead and the surrounding fields.

Step 2: Gather Radiant Remnants

Kill mobs in the event area — they drop radiant remnants. This resource can also be found in small chests and interactive objects scattered across the area. To activate the four lesser keyflames you will need a minimum of 12 radiant remnants (3 for each).

Step 3: Activate the Lesser Keyflames

Approach each of the four lesser keyflames and deposit 3 radiant remnants. When a keyflame is activated, a daily quest from the lamplighters appears nearby. Complete it and you will receive a Lamplighter Supply Satchel.

Each of these quests rewards one Lamplighter Supply Satchel.

Step 4: Fuel the Main Keyflames (Bonus)

The main keyflames require 20 radiant remnants to activate. After depositing the remnants, a 20-minute buff and a bonus objective in the vicinity begin. When the timer expires, an elite enemy appears. Completing the bonus objective can also reward a Lamplighter Supply Satchel.

Step 5: Complete the Weekly Quest

After activating the four lesser keyflames you will complete the weekly quest Spreading the Light. The reward is a radiant cache with Veteran-level gear, valorstones, crest fragments, and reputation with the Hallowfall Arathi faction.

Step 6: Open the Satchels

Open all the Lamplighter Supply Satchels you have collected. Besides the mount chance, they drop resonance crystals, lamplighter transmog items, and rare trinkets (Imperfect Ascendancy Serum).

Weekly Plan for One Character

Over a single week on one character you can obtain roughly 14–17 Lamplighter Supply Satchels from three sources:

1. Daily quests at the lesser keyflames — the main source of satchels. Activate the flames and complete the quests that appear
2. Bonus objectives at the main keyflames — deposit 20 radiant remnants and complete the objectives that appear
3. The "Defender of the Flame" quest — a world quest that appears periodically

Multi-Character Farming

The event is available to all level 90 characters on the account. Since the mount's drop chance is low, it is recommended to:

• Run the event on 3–5 characters weekly
• With 15 satchels per character and 5 characters, you will open about 75 satchels a week
• Statistically, at a 0.6% chance you will need an average of 165 satchels to obtain the mount — that is about 2–3 weeks of active farming across several characters

Efficient Route

1. Fly to coordinates 64.26, 30.18 — the center of the event
2. Kill mobs until you have gathered enough radiant remnants
3. Activate the nearest lesser keyflame, complete the daily quest
4. Move on to the next lesser flame and repeat
5. When you have accumulated spare remnants, deposit 20 into the main keyflame and complete the bonus objective
