Divine Kiss of Ohn'ahra — How to Get the Secret Mount

Divine Kiss of Ohn'ahra is one of the most impressive secret mounts from the Dragonflight expansion. Unlike most mounts, this one does not seat your character on top — it transforms them into a massive ohn'ahran — a sacred bird of the Ohn'ahran Plains. The mount looks like a majestic horned eagle and is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful means of transport in the entire game.

Getting it is not overly difficult, but the process requires patience: you need high renown with the Maruuk Centaur, a five-day quest chain, and several items — one of which drops in a dungeon.

• Unique model — a transformation mount; your character becomes a bird entirely
• Secret mount — does not appear in the journal until obtained, pleasantly surprising other players
• Soloable — all stages can be completed solo thanks to the Follower Dungeon system
• Flies and walks — the model changes depending on the movement type

Before you start collecting items, make sure all conditions are met:

The Ohn'ahran Plains is an open zone of the Dragon Isles — no additional campaigns are needed to access it.

Obtaining the mount requires renown rank 25 — the maximum for this faction. Main ways to grind renown:

• Story quests in the Ohn'ahran Plains — provide a large one-time boost
• Weekly quests in Maruukai — a steady source of renown points
• World quests in the Ohn'ahran Plains — small amounts, but always available
• Clan hunts — a group event that awards renown points
• Grand Hunt of the Shikaar — a weekly event with good rewards

Grinding from zero to rank 25 takes approximately 2–3 weeks of active play. On alts, the process is faster thanks to a renown catch-up bonus.

This mount is a mandatory prerequisite for unlocking the final quest. The quest chain takes 5 real days (one quest per day).

How to Start

1. You need renown rank 9+ with the Maruuk Centaur
2. Complete the side chain "Initiate's Walk" (part of the "Ohn'ahran Plains Explorer" achievement)
3. Then start the quest "The Disgruntled Apprentice" from Windsage Ordven

4. Progress through the chain to the quest "Sneaking In", after which Initiate Radiya becomes available

Daily Quests "Taming a Thunderspine"

Each day for five days, you must bring Radiya specific items plus 150 Dragon Isles Supplies:

After the fifth day, return to Radiya and complete the quest "Beast of the Plains" to receive Lizi, Thunderspine Trampler.

Now that you have Lizi and renown rank 25, you need to collect three items:

1. Stolen Breath of Ohn'ahra (x3)

Stolen Breath of Ohn'ahra drops from the Balakar Khan — the final boss of the The Nokhud Offensive dungeon.

• Drop chance: approximately 17% per kill
• Difficulty: drops on any difficulty, including Normal
• Solo farming: available through the Follower Dungeons system — you enter alone while NPCs fill the group. Queue is instant
• Higher chance on higher difficulty: Mythic and Mythic+ difficulties have higher drop rates
• The item is not locked to a lockout — you can farm unlimited times

With a 17% drop chance, you will need an average of 18 runs to collect all three breaths. One Follower Dungeon run takes approximately 15–20 minutes.

2. Incense of Celebration (x1, Rank 3)

Incense of Celebration is an item crafted by alchemists.

• The recipe is sold by Quartermaster Huseng at renown rank 22 with the Maruuk Centaur
• The item is not soulbound (BoE), so you can simply buy it on the Auction House
• The quest requires specifically Rank 3 — pay attention when purchasing
• If you are an alchemist yourself, a skill of around 250 in the incense specialization is needed to guarantee Rank 3

3. Essence of Awakening (x1)

Essence of Awakening is purchased from Quartermaster Huseng in Maruukai.

• Cost: 50 Dragon Isles Supplies + 1 Untimely Sand
• Requirement: renown rank 7+ with the Maruuk Centaur
• Untimely Sand drops from time-displaced mobs in Thaldraszus (around the Temporal Conflux area, approximately coordinates 60, 80). The drop chance is low, so it is easier to buy it on the Auction House

Once all three items are collected, Lizi is obtained, and renown rank 25 is reached:

1. Travel to NPC Godoloto in the Ohn'ahran Plains:

3. Fly north to Ohn'ahra — the spirit patron of the plains:

4. Approach Ohn'ahra and turn in the quest — the spirit will accept your offerings and reward you with the Divine Kiss of Ohn'ahra mount

The mount instantly appears in your collection and is available on all characters on the account.

• Follower Dungeons — the best way to farm Stolen Breath of Ohn'ahra solo. The queue is instant, NPC companions handle the content without issues
• The Auction House saves time — Rank 3 Incense of Celebration and Untimely Sand are usually inexpensive; buying them saves hours of farming
• Renown grinding on alts — if you play multiple characters, the alt renown catch-up bonus speeds up the process
• Farming Dragon Isles Supplies — they are needed for both Lizi's daily quests (750 over 5 days) and purchasing Essence of Awakening (50). Supplies can be obtained from world quest and event chests across the Dragon Isles
• Total time to obtain: if renown is already maxed — about 1–2 weeks counting the five-day Lizi chain and breath farming. From scratch — about 3–4 weeks

The quest at Godoloto doesn't appear — what should I do? Make sure all conditions are met: renown rank 25, "The Highest Honor" quest completed, Lizi mount obtained. Godoloto offers the quest only when you already have all three Stolen Breath of Ohn'ahra items in your bags.

Can the mount still be obtained in The War Within? Yes, the mount is still available. All quests and items work. The Nokhud Offensive dungeon is accessible via Follower Dungeons.

Does the Breath only drop on a specific difficulty? No, the item drops on any difficulty — from Normal to Mythic+. Since patch 10.0.7, the drop is also available in Mythic+ mode.
