Dragon's Call — Transmog Set Guide

Dragon's Call is an epic one-handed sword that hails from classic World of Warcraft. The blade has a distinctive "dragon" hilt in green and emerald tones, and the blade itself looks as if it were forged to match the green dragonflight. It is one of the most recognizable classic piercing weapons: its silhouette is hard to confuse with anything else.

Beyond its looks, the sword has a feature that was rare for its time — while equipped, it has a chance to summon an emerald whelp that fights briefly on your side. The effect plays no role for transmog, but it is exactly what made the item a legend among veteran players. The sword suits every specialization that uses one-handed swords and looks equally natural in both the main hand and the off hand.

The sword drops in the Sunken Temple dungeon — the ancient temple of Atal'Hakkar at the bottom of the Swamp of Sorrows.

• The only source is the boss Shade of Eranikus, a dragonkin deep within the temple.
• The drop chance is around 5.9% per kill, so several runs are usually needed.
• There are no limits on attempts: you can re-enter the dungeon and kill the boss as many times as needed (keep in mind the daily cap on the number of dungeon entries).
• The boss's coordinates inside the temple are roughly /way 67 88.

The content is long outdated, so a current-level character clears the entire temple solo with ease. The difficulty lies not in the fight but in the Sunken Temple maze itself — it is confusing, and the route to the Shade of Eranikus is not obvious.
